This is fascinating. I’m thinking of getting into DIY synths, coming from an IT bavkground and a little bit of electronics from HS. How impossible would it be to build something like this?

For me, there is 2 things to do before taking something like this, first would be getting a good understanding of what modular synthesis is (VCV rack and Omri Cohen are a great start), second bit is to start with small but fun individual module on breadboard (and here all the video from Moritz Klein are amazing). But if you have some electronic knowledge, you already have a pretty good start 😀
Sounds closer than the Behringer Edge. Where are the patchpoints? They are half the fun.
There are no patch points. I used protoboards, so there was not much room left. I guess it is more of a "vanilla" DFAM clone then.
