    I've been studying my Mother-32 for months, playing, improvising, songwriting - yet this video instantly taught me some brand-new tricks I'd never thought of. I followed along in rapt attention. This has been one of the coolest instruments of my life. thanks for the tips!!!

    This is why I love the VC MIX knob. It allows us to increase the number of sounds in the most creative ways! Plus when it gets added with KB, this turns to beast mode!

    Congrats guys! This is an amazing video! Also, keep posting more and more patches and how they can affect the sound - this is great for new musicians on modular - also would be very cool to have a video series with 2x and 3x mother 32, once u guys sell the racks and a lot o people is using more than one mother, would be really cool to learn more about how to perform better with multiple machines!

    I had been planning on upgrading to a Subsequent 37 because I wanted more voices than my single Mother 32 provides, but this gives me fresh ideas to experiment on. Great job, guys!

    • @NicholasGreenwood
      @NicholasGreenwood 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Edit: I still want a Subsequent 37.

    • @thiskingbusiness
      @thiskingbusiness 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sub 37 is just a single voice. The paraphonic mode simply assigns the 2 oscillators with the ability to play them separately on different notes. Multiple voices = Multiples of an oscillator, filter, VCA, LFO etc.

    Impressive. In the future could you please explain how to add a 2nd or 3rd oscillator from a second mother32 or other VCO. What is best to connect the output of any of the 2 osc to ext in, or the output of the filter or VCA from another mother into the ext in, to make a thicker sound? Thanks again
