In OM the audible part is just a byproduct of visual, because what you see is mostly the phase shift between left and right channel - this is clearly visible on oscillogram, but barely audible - that's how the trick works so well. But THIS is something completely different. Magic.
Hey thanks. I don’t like when things become a gimmick, when the creative part becomes repetitive and predictable. I started doing OM using abstract signals more than 10 years ago. I never liked to have images I like when signals are abstract so the viewers can imagine what they want.
I really appreciate how you stretched the projections to fit the aspect ratio, instead of cropping it like many other people do. It retains so much more visual! Also really cool how you use glowie paint and lasers. I love the raw sound! I can tell you were having a ball while making this in a single take, I know how that feels and you really can make some bangers when you get into the flow.
The audio and visuals of this video is just raw electricity. It’s oddly powerful seeing and hearing pure energy twist and bend into messy curves, the harsh tones of contained lighting scraping against the innards of my headphones. Alright, pretentious monologue over. Good sounds, good looks, my ears hurt, and I hope you keep up the good work.
