I remember that you have done a 3X more channel Port Town from scratch and I love those kind of remakes! Was absolutely well done! And now you have done this amazing job! I have tried listening with Mute City 2 mix while playing Mute City 2 and it works! Can't wait for Red Canyon 2!
There aren't any laws regarding modding that I know of, I think most of the concern is just modding the console without breaking it (and not getting banned from NSO while doing so)
Huh, it's interesting how you harmonized the instruments, especially the trumpets. It definitely sounds more imposing than the original, but the ambient and relaxing vibe of the original is gone. I guess that's fitting enough, because this track is CRAZY difficult if you're not used to the pull magnets. If you're not practiced at them, they'll throw off the rest of the corners ultimately ruining the whole race!
@@jswayne7546 What I do is I stay on the right, and they usually pass me. Once clear I speed up and take the switchback corner. Very tricky to do when actually playing the game though, and I do know what you mean, there's always a CPU on your arse and sometimes it feels like they're trying to smash into ya!
This is second hardest after Fire Field. Mainly because the other machines always take computer-perfect lines while you have to actually slow down in order to turn and avoid bumpers. Getting bumped while turning might leave you doomed to be ranked out...
I really love how this kinda amps it up a lot like White Land 2 does. It's a shame the original game didn't pull of second track remixes like this!
This one gives "You got Boost Power!!!" a whole new meaning, once you get them.

I wish there was a legal way to mod these tracks into F-Zero99 so I could listen to them in-game! They sound so good! :)

There's a way to mod the SNES game to have these tracks, but there is a LOTTA lotta steps to get it done.
Nintendo would certainly like to make modding illegal though. They act like it's a crime for sure.

This track on expert and master mode is the hardest the AI ever gets
Yes that includes fire field, that's the hardest from a technical standpoint
Not to mention it gets so narrow that you WILL collide with other racers.
@@jswayne7546 Unless the driver is patient and slows down.
@@StatickyCatThen you get bumped from behind.

I'm really digging this project you've been doing
Little moments I can hear like at 2:55 really give a nice subtle spice to the original song.

Port Town, the theme of Captain Falcon & Blue Falcon mains.
This likes Megaman X
Wildfire Wharf, where we separate the novices from the real pros. For a added challenge, try tackling this track with the LunaBomber.
