Me and my brothers didn't know waluigi was in the game until we tried the jank internet which took us all day just to get it working and we thought the other players were hacking because we saw waluigi and didn't know he was in the game yet. We eventually unlocked him after looking on old game forums about it. It just brings a nostalgic vibes remembering the old days of the internet and stuff. And the end theme brings me to nostalgic tears ever single time I listen to it. And I only beat wiggler using cheats on an emulator.

I just 3 star’d every Grand Prix track, 3 star every mission, completed time trials with a better time than employees ghost, and did 2 challenges I have to myself for balloon battle and shine runners. In balloon battle I put it in hard mode, no teams, and try to win without blowing a single balloon in all the courses and holy hell it’s a challenge to do. It made me rage but I loved it since it made me realize how good I am at the game and I recommend doing it. Shine runners challenge is also a bit of a pain. Put everything in hard, no teams, and try to get 9 shines before the time limit runs out (9 shine stars are max to spawn) and let me tell you, it is really frustrating in the last 3 courses. I recommend taking these challenges as you think you had finished, how about you challenge yourself in the end?

Me and my brothers would play ballon battle and it was absolutely vicious we would make alliances and break them. I'd even get up early and play the game without permission just to unlock the character's. I had some good times.
This game is one that defines childhood, some great times. It has its flaws and it isn’t my favorite mario kart but still good. I wish they would bring back mission mode and emblems also.

Okay, personally Iike figure 8 circuit and mario circuit. To me, they're certainly a lot more interesting and fun starter tracks than the mario kart 7 starters. But the Wii starter tracks have my respect. They're so iconic.
I’m sorry, did you just call Figure 8 interesting? It’s one of the worst Mario Kart tracks for being nothing but uninteresting. Toad Circuit is fine, but 7’s Mario Circuit is also way better than DS’s. You literally drive inside of Peach’s Castle, that’s so cool! And for the Wii, I don’t have any nostalgia bias towards it, so I’ll say that Luigi’s Circuit is definitely not the best Luigi Circuit. It’s okay. Mario Circuit feels like DD Mario Circuit, which is weird because they have DD Mario Circuit as a retro track. I do like it less than DD Mario Circuit because you can never seem to use the shortcut without touching the grass.

What this guy does not know is you do not actually need to use the microphone to blow balloons, you can just hold the select button while going slow, but hey i guess only die hard MK ds fans know this one 😅

One more thing, Figure 8 circuit is boring for a reason its a way to trained noobs into professionals, especially racing against the Nintendo Ghost in time trails, a great introduction track to mario kart that was not going to punish you too bad if you had no idea what you were doing, and once you mastered snaking, no doubt you were a master at the game, also i dislike that you said drifting is janky, cuz its really not, handling matterd so much in mk ds, if u were using marios lightening car, dry bones tank, daisys speeder, taods mushroom car, or yoshis Egg car, drifting was basically on steroids. And unfortunately in the new entries of mario kart, will never be that good again, if you messed up while drifting in this game it was most likely ur own fault, the d-pad and depending on how u used it only listened to ur commands by using ur thumb, if u went to many clicks to the left and crashed in a narrow hallway welp u were not giving each left and right of the D-pad an even number of clicks on both sides while drifting, or u just didn't jump cancel in time after a small boost, once you become a master at the drifting in this game no games drifting mechanics match its potential, Mario kart 8 Deluxe may have 200cc but snaking and this games drifting potential, basically was like you were going 300cc, and there is nothing faster. The amount of times you can over lap anyone just by snaking is broken asf and you have to make split second decisions just to keep ur speed.
