Man....... that was some level to complete. its my the favorite mission in cod4. now they are just trying to replicate the feeling without the level of intensity or the fear factor of getting caught.
It's the same thing with the OG AC-130 mission. They have done it in CoD 4, MW2019, MW22, and MW23. It's kind of lost its charm at this point. The original one was super dope because it was something new and unique. It only happened the one time, and it wasn't even guaranteed to return in MW2 or MW3.

Atmosphere. Nowadays I find myself gravitating more towards games that have a focus on atmosphere and immersion. All Ghillied Up broke the cycle of "shoot bad guys until the end" in the series and it was one of those missions where you were like wow this feels like a completely different game. People argue COD MW2 was the best in the series, I argue COD4 MW was the best because it paved the way for the golden era of COD titles up until BO2.
So true! I used to think that MW2 was the best in the series but after revisiting this level and the overall campaign, I think it’s the best in the series! It’s much more grounded too, MW2 and MW3 feel more like Michael Bay movies haha
@@bobbyoftheh1ll COD MW2 defined multiplayer for the series. It is without question the definitive multiplayer experience for COD. I think that's where people tend to get their opinion from when it comes to "best." If we're talking a title as a whole, COD4 MW was an entire package. I would also like to give a shout out to COD World At War for keeping that spirit alive during the time between MW and MW2.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the greatest Call of Duty campaign of all time in my opinion, followed up by Modern Warfare 2 (2009). To people who have not played this I can only say you have missed half your childhood
I would argue Death From Above is up there in top 3 COD missions
