I just want to say thank you for the incredible support on the old school COD videos. I've definitely struggled to keep up with the COD content recently with the state of MW2 (2022), so it's been awesome to see so much love on these throwback videos. Love you all ❤️ And yes, I completely chose the wrong file when editing and put in the Black Ops theme by mistake lol.

No Battlepass, no skins, no blueprints, no 86 attachments per weapon, no field upgrades, no intricate maps with 100 spots to hide, no SBMM. This is how you make a game great. It seems to me like the more they added to the CoD franchise the worse the games got or is it just me?
Feels like they added more gimmicks to get people more hooked onto the game, but it came at the expense of the game’s core appeal. People may get bored of a game, take some time away and return to it. Seems like they tried to do everything to prevent that.
It’s because everything they have added into COD has been for predatory commercial reasons. In 2009, every mechanic the devs put into the game was designed with the intention of making the best game possible for its value. The gaming industry has changed.
I agree. Call of Duty now is just Fortnite pretending to be Call of Duty. Battle passes, seasons, superpowers and neon gun camos and character skins... it's laughable
You know the original developers of these games are so proud. Their 10 year games are getting player counts that this year's cod is struggling to. You know you made a good game when 10 years later, people are out buying and finding 2 generations ago consoles just to play it.

I haven’t touched an Xbox since back in the day when I owned a 360 and used to spend every hour coming home from school and jumping in a lobby with all my school friends. Watching this brought back such nostalgia, it truly was a golden age of gaming
I remember the week this game came out I stayed up all night trying to get a skin for my ACR when I had to print and present a project the next morning. Gamed all night, at 5:00am I switched to the project, got it done by 7:00, had it ready to present by 9:00, did alright on it. I mean I only worked on it for 3 hours after a MW2 bangger and got a decent grade. All worth it! Man the good old times of college and being able to do all of this and feel fine the rest of the day.
Damn dude, just had a nostalgia rush from watching this.... PS3 MW2 was amazing. Remember hosting lobby's teaching people how to quick scope. SOH pro with the thermal to get them use to it. So many after school memories on this fucking game. Now I'm out here working like a mad man doing maintenance work, crazy how fast time flys. Thanks for sharing bro

My feelings exactly, my man. Played last Friday night for HOURS and genuinely felt like I was 14 again. Also using the BO1 music was a great choice for the intro
@@LoganChristiansonhe video started again and I was like “he’s right” but a little after the opening the BO1 music starts. Fades in at 0:11 and gets into the meat of the song around 0:25
I know it sounds similar, but that is music from MW2. I wouldnt be surprised if they lifted bits from it for BO, but the strings you hear are distinctive to MW2. No other CoD game uses strings like Zimmer did for mw2
@@LoganChristianson in the very beginning, it is MW2 but at 0:11 BO1 menu music fades in for sure. If I’m wrong I’ll admit but I’ve never heard that music in MW2 once
Even playing the first Modern Warfare is so refreshing. Simple, yet so fun. No one has an advantage over you except skill. Everyone is using basically the same gun and perks. About to hop on now!
Same here. Got myself a series s just to play MW3, my personal goat. Once the xbox was set up around 13:00 yesterday I just sat on the floor playing MW3. No pee break, no food break, didnt even stop to get my gaming chair. Played all the way until like 19:00 cuz a man has got to eat. Continued playing straight after dinner, until it was time to go to bed. Woke up, first thing on my mind was... You guessed it: peeing. But MW3 was a close second tho.
How come these graphics and speed aged so freaking well, these textures on the guns are so unbelievably realistic and the speed feels just right to have some fun.
Old cods certainly had some magic to them. I never got to play MW2 in it’s hayday, but I played MW3 when it came out and enjoyed the hell out of it as a kid
THATS IT! I’m going on a search for an Xbox 360 haha! Favela is such an amazing map. This game is so special and it’s amazingly simple. Great perks and weapons as well as actually planned out maps not just a taken section from the big BR map we have now Keep posting OG cods pls!
The title of this makes me feel ancient. My "kid days" FPS choices were The 1st 3: Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake or N64 Golden Eye lol. Wasn't until late highschool that Half Life then CS came out.
my mom didnt let me have an xbox so my only chance to play was at sleepovers. i wouldn't sleep, i would play all night and my friends would wake up to a new prestige.
Silenced UMP45, Lightweight, Marathon, Commando was my fucking JAM on MW2. Absolutely the most fun sprinting CQB setup. Something about frantically sprinting all over the place like a crackhead with a silent SMG and the ability to teleport a knife into someone's neck from 10 yards was just hilariously fun. I mean I only worked on it for 3 hours after a MW2 bangger and got a decent grade. All worth it! Man the good old times of college and being able to do all of this and feel fine the rest of the day.
Loved how in the older cods, certain maps have certain player models and voice lines
Ive been playing online mw2 again and im loving it
I literally subbed at the beginning of MW19 less than 15K subs and my man’s demeanor hasn’t changed one bit… Youre channel the epitome of consistency bringing success!
played this game so much when I was in 10th grade back in 2010 best memories. definitely looks dated now though, back then these were peak graphics hat looked amazing at the time.
I was in elementary school back then and used to play MW2 over and over on my 360. Also used to binge on Black Ops 2 and Advanced Warfare
love it, must say I was confused in the intro when I heard Black ops 1 soundtrack but glad these games have come back to life!
The maps are phenomenal. I mean look at the vertical plays on each map shown. The maps, the guns, the kill streaks ❤
I’m so happy I never got rid of my Xbox one x now I missed this game so bad the nostalgia is overflowing ❤️
Best time of my life when I was playing MW2. I really miss playing the game. Goosebumps hearing all the sounds. Wish I could reverse time
Handler, in honor of going back to the oldies I am watching this the way a teenage me would have when mw2 first came out; in 480p with speakers that are blasted to shit from overruse
My feelings exactly, my man. Played last Friday night for HOURS and genuinely felt like I was 14 again. Also using the BO1 music was a great choice for the intro
There is no BO1 music in this. All the music is from MW2.
@@LoganChristiansonnah the BO1 multiplayer music is at the beginning of the video for sure
Crazy how a game this old have better audio than the 97% of fps games that we have these days...
The golden era of Call of Duty and gaming, now we're all grown up...
the 2019 handler outro music always has a special place in my heart...
The only time Ive missed having my old xbox lol, talk about nostalgia. Just the music alone is an instant throwback
go old days
Old cods certainly had some magic to them. I never got to play MW2 in it’s hayday, but I played MW3 when it came out and enjoyed the hell out of it as a kid
THATS IT! I’m going on a search for an Xbox 360 haha!
Favela is such an amazing map. This game is so special and it’s amazingly simple. Great perks and weapons as well as actually planned out maps not just a taken section from the big BR map we have now
Keep posting OG cods pls!
you can play it on any xbox
This is the game that started it for me.
The title of this makes me feel ancient. My "kid days" FPS choices were The 1st 3: Doom, Wolfenstein, Quake or N64 Golden Eye lol. Wasn't until late highschool that Half Life then CS came out.
black ops music as a background for mw2 footage.. I LOVE IT
More of this please :) thanks for all the great content, Handler!
OG MW2 with OG Black Ops music in the background!? I think I just had a massive nostalgia overdose
Man late night CoD sessions bring back this wave of absolute nostalgia
Mw2 SnD was my peak CoD addiction man. Maybe I should hop back on
Not having to worry about ur dead silence running out and having to slow down is so refreshing
"check those corners"... proceeds to not check the corner haha. Nice video enjoyed the nostalgia
my mom didnt let me have an xbox so my only chance to play was at sleepovers. i wouldn't sleep, i would play all night and my friends would wake up to a new prestige.
God I miss this game.
just wanted to say before i make my comment thank you for you effort and time you put / have been putting in the videos lately, it never goes unnoticed mate.
Seriously. This brings back MEMORIES!
staying up all night, drinking Mountain Dew, room getting hot because of the tv and PlayStation…..
Damn.
Same I’m having the best time feels like the old times hope you boys enjoying as well!!!
bro this reminds me of my love the first modern warfare and black ops 1 - 2, I was staying up all night on my ps3 good memories man
I've never watched someone who literally repeats his exact footsteps every single round
Happy this came up in my recommendations. Played actively 2010-2014 then passively until 2016, and a bit during covid. Acquired 2800 game hours lol. Havent played in several years now but man I miss it.
Thank you always for the great content
God this was the perfect cod. This and CoD4 are still the best of the best
Bro i can't get enough of the older cod vids 💯🔥💪🏾🤘🏾.
