Drove the Mutz when it was on rental,loved it the first time I drove it,not a lot of armor,but if you can peek-a-boo around the corners,and take your shot and back off,without getting hit,like I did,you can cause 1,000+ damage.
I know it isn't,but I'm relatively new to this game,still learning how to play with different vehicles,and Trying hard to get better.1K is a lot for me,well,sort of,discounting the SU-100y battles,I don't normally do that much damage,but can't wait for that to be the norm for me.
When watching this review and when he said 'The rear view mirrors are a problem the gun depression' i was like 'doesn't sound like a problem to me'. After purchasing and and playing i have noticed that it does throw you off sometimes. Lesson learned, Quickybaby never points out pointless stuff.

Before people is getting confused about why the Indien Panzer is having better traverse on soft terrain, is because of the formula below. Real Traverse speed = (Elite Engine HP/Stock Engine HP)* Your traverse speed including bonuses * (Resistance on HARD terrain including bonuses/Resistance on CURRENT terrain including bonuses)*(Tanks stock weight/Tanks current weight)*Pivot coefficient. Pivot coefficient is 0.95 for pivot tanks and 1 for non-pivot tanks. Credit goes to whoever guys on wotlabs that figured it out, just search for "Wotlabs traverse speed calculation".

I just bought the CDC last night and LOVE IT! It took numerous of your videos and tank reviews for me to pull the trigger on this one and I'm glad I did. I just hope that this tank will not turn out to be better than the CDC. I'm starting to have the buyers remorse.
Another great video, keep it up bruv. I like the look of this one myself it appeals to the play style I think I like! Unfortunately what you think you like whilst watching and what you really like or are good at on a practical level often bare little resemblance to each other. I bought the CDC after watching your review and I love everything about the tank, I love the idea of the CDC. Again unfortunately, I hardly ever play it. I just cant get on with it. My theory involves gun dispersion on the move. The CDC is a great big glass cannon with an obscene engine no armour at all and a decent gun. You have to keep this tank moving, mobility is what the tank is all about. Problem is you cant keep moving if you want to hit anything. So, the speed is almost addictive and consequently most of my games in the CDC involve haring around the map until I am forced to stop when a target is too juicy or useful too pass up and then I am usually blasted by the time I aim or straight after before I can get away! I cant help feeling that this lovely premium tank will wind up playing exactly the same for me. You make it all look so easy bruv....... It is most irritating. Yee Haa

I bought a Pz IV schmalturm back in the day out of desperation to have a crew trainer for German mediums. That tank was such a disappointment that I sold it. I didn't even consider the Panther 88. In fact, after seeing how easily the Leopard tanks get ammo racked, I gave up on German mediums entirely, and retrained my crew into a TD.
0:20 First honest reviews of tanks from QB in years. Unfortunaly this Panzer 58 is just as bad. It is basicly FCM which trades dpm and limited MM for accelaration.
I think Panzer 58 earns more credits than FCM 50T when they manage the same damages. I believe there must be a ratio that states difference of credit making ability between each premium tank, even though it doesn't appear on the stats.
wonderful tank :) Its my second premium tank after super pershing. You can just play from your turret. reminds me of t20 or pershing gameplay, very comfortable.

FYI, the reason Indien-Panzer turns better than your stat comparison would imply is that the listed stats are for stock specific power. Indien-Panzer's effective base traverse (before ground resistance is applied) is higher because of the engine upgrade, whereas premium tanks don't have any upgrades.
Killed a Mutz with my TVP yesterday, also test/press account but I don't think it was QB. The turret is quite bouncy at long range against guns like the long 88 on my TVP, but the hull is very weak even from the front and mobility is mediocre on hills, I think it's more like a Pershing than a CDC.
@QuickyBaby Why do you never mention the Brake Force ? It can sometimes be helpfull if you find yourself right in front of some Tanks (and thanks to the Brake force) and you can pull faster behind a save cover.
This tank looks like a beetle with those antennas. Edit: Also I noticed that Coaxial auto cannon, that would be interesting if you could actually use it, it would be great for taking out light tanks.

The tank looks like a compromise between CDC and Panther 8.8. I am still curious how it can fight agains enemy light tanks directly, if you rush it early in spotting locations. Does that armour ding tier 7-8 light tanks?
As i said in some older topics : It's basically a weaker version of Indien with increased credit income. The problem with Indien Panzer is ...it just can't win games by itself like other tanks (it can't carry) having no armor to rely on . That will the same problem with this Mutz as well. So no thank you. Unless some soviet tank medium challenger is going to arrive there is no point in wasting your money on these premiums.
I'm not actually certain if the Mutz actually aims faster. Base aimtime is deceptive because your actual aiming time depends on how much dispersion you had.
That thing about the mirrors is stupid, the Coyotes and Leopards I work on and with have a sensor on the barrel that stop them from hitting the mirrors like that. But in combat theres a manual override that just lets you smash everything out of the way.

I was watching DezGamez review and at 5.42 he brought up the gun specs in the garage which states that the gun is fitted to the Panzer 58 AND the Panzer 58 Mutz - is there another tank out there?
Other than crew training why would you ever get those over a amx 50 t? I know the 50 t is a heavy but it is REALLY a medium. And it had the same gun basically but better dpm and stuff. Better Armour. Better view and signal. More HP. It plays in a similar way as a mobile sniper but just does it better. AND IT ONLY SEES TIER 9! So its as good as or better in every way but wont see tier 10s?

If I like a tank it becomes a "Keeper" so I am interested to hear your opinion of what tanks you would love to have sat in your garage, this could also give newer starters a few targets to aim for. This tank is a problem in it's current shape because it means that with releasing this tank Wargaming needs to also buff the gun-stats of the CDC drastically, especially the dispersion, as well as the ground resistance values. Like you said, this is in effect a German CDC and it'sabtter in every respect a part from top speed.

I was watching DezGamez review and at 5.42 he brought up the gun specs in the garage which states that the gun is fitted to the Panzer 58 AND the Panzer 58 Mutz - is there another tank out there?

Other than crew training why would you ever get those over a amx 50 t? I know the 50 t is a heavy but it is REALLY a medium. And it had the same gun basically but better dpm and stuff. Better Armour. Better view and signal. More HP. It plays in a similar way as a mobile sniper but just does it better. AND IT ONLY SEES TIER 9! So its as good as or better in every way but wont see tier 10s?
this is probably the best tier 8 med tank after the CDC... gun handling+good mobility no doubt this is one of the best...

If I like a tank it becomes a "Keeper" so I am interested to hear your opinion of what tanks you would love to have sat in your garage, this could also give newer starters a few targets to aim for. Maybe a quick brief of why you would always have this tank or aim for it.

What about the normal pz. 58? I saw that model long before this and I want it horribly bad, I'd honestly much rather have panzer gray or camo than the bear thing

This tank is a problem in it's current shape because it means that with releasing this tank Wargaming needs to also buff the gun-stats of the CDC drastically, especially the dispersion, as well as the ground resistance values.
Like you said, this is in effect a German CDC and it'sabtter in every respect a part from top speed.
