Yeah but you have to remember the community is split into players that want to play for free (but expect get all the goodies paying players get), players that are happy to spend a considerable amount of money each year on what they see as a hobby/entertainment and players that sit anywhere in between. The chances of everyone agreeing on anything is pretty small :)
3 marking that within the first day will be STUPID easy because the values are not calculated - unless they use the skewed values established by content creators who are skilled and will make marking it all but impossible.

bullshit useless clickbait, the tank doesn't really cost 200$. what it does cost is 25000 gold in free xp (when converting on a discount). and sure, 25k gold is 100$ at full price, but I got 200$ worth of boxes in the winter, which got me 120k gold. I got lucky, but 200 boxes usually give you around 100k gold, so it's more like 50$ in gold. you can also get 36% off using your BP fragments (it would be 640k free xp + bp fragments), which means it would be more like 16k gold which is like 30-40$ worth of gold if you're smart and buy the boxes. which is about what a normal tier 8 prem costs in the shop.

This tank looks really fun and I'd love to have it, but I would have to spend over $100 just to get it, which as Kajzoo said, isn't worth it at all. I do like that they are balancing these assembly shop tanks to an extent, if they were straight up OP, it would just be bad for the game. I love my Progetto 65 but it wont compete with the Lion...not only was the Carro a more meta suitable med now this makes my Progetto look cringe...WG should give the old gun handling back or allow the compensation mechanic to be available. Otherwise the Progetto 65 will be completely destroyed by power creep T.T
Couldnt WG have come up with a better name? Lion is already used by the Löwe. Yes, that is in another language (german btw) but it has the same meaning. If they wanted to go that way, WG should have used Leone. (Which is the italian word for lion.) With a little planing ahead, you could get the Lion for like 40k gold. You 'just' need enough XP on your tanks to convert them to free XP. Even with the normal ration of 1:25 this would save you 15k gold. At events with 1:40 exchange rate the gold costs would drop down to 25k, which is nearly reasonable for a tank like that.
Cheers buddy. I appreciate that you put a $$ value on it vis a vis what you think it's worth. It looks nice (ie the physical model) but I don't think the tank is for me really. Not good enough at long range and not tough enough up close. I'm nowhere near as good as you are so I imagine this would be another 45% WR tank in my garage.

You guys should know you have to have good timing to keep up the highest dpm, you can't just hold down the mousebutton because that would just empty the last shell.. making this a rhythm game tank.. :D

I really don't understand the "it's too modern" complaints, so long as the vehicle doesn't have modern features like ERA, which it surely doesn't in this case. We really could throw in more modern tanks like the Stingray LT or the TAM, and it would be totally fine since they don't possess features outside the range of what WoT allows.

Armored Warfare had even modern features, problem is that WoT ends by tier 10 and some branches are completely made up from tier 8 (in case of Czechoslovakia basically from LTvz38 up). AW even had quite balanced guided rockets (basically slow flying HEATs, that forced you to stay exposed for their flight time and were visible by enemy). I guess problem with modern tanks are faster shells with higher energy, better accuracy, way better turret protection. Game is still missing some tanks, like Israeli M50, M51 (basically M4A1Rev is a prototype missing upgraded suspension and tracks), Vickers MBT, AMX32. Let's hope that WG won't add wheeled tank destroyers. Sadly some tier 10 tanks don't belong to this game. Cheif, Mino or E3 are basically immune frontally.
A dirt cheap tank for thinking people. After all, an average player knows what events will be in the coming months. So it was necessary to do this: buy one large set of packages (80 pieces) for PLN 100 euro. The average value of such a package in gold is on average 80,000 gold (in gold, tanks, silver). Then in the last 2-3 weeks there was an option to exchange free exp for 1 to 40, so we exchange 1,000,000 for 25,000 gold. Converting to the money spent during the holidays, it turns out that the tank costs ... 32 euro. In the shop at this price there are tanks: 112, Astron or IS-3A.

This tank i would suppose is suppost to represent Italian Lropard 1a4 or 1a5 (from as much as i have seen it inthis video and from front pic, so not that much but the mantlet js 1a4 like) which is further upgraded variant of leo1 with better gun control system and better optics. It was also made 20 years after ww2 which doesn't make sense to be put in this game

The tank looks like a lot of fun, but I wouldn't spend too much money for it. This is "end game" content made to drain resources from players that already have everything with nothing to spend their free XP on.
Kajzoo do you have a video on the Char Futur 4? If not it would be nice to see you mark it eventually. I would like some tips for it as it is harder to play than normal autoloaders with fast intra-clip reloads and shorter over all reloads.
@@kjell9745 I have none, but only 20 or so games played in it. A lot of people say its very hard to play, but I usually sit a little back from the main fighting and snipe with the amazing apcr rounds where the long intra clip reload and lack of armor don't make a huge difference.
So basically it is what the Proghetto 65 used to be before they nerfed it to hell because it was game breaking. But hey we are in the new world of breaking the game is perfectly fine as long as money is being made... right WG? lols
I got the 780, but they made this tank more expensive for no real reason. I have a feeling they will sell a lot less of these than they did the 780, and on NA they only sold about 9k of them.
From Caravan to Black Market, then Assembly and lots of gold to free exp conversion discounts happened. people should have expected this is coming and saved free exp. worth it or not. It's to my satisfaction to have this tank with free exp and blueprint fragments.
It would be nice if you add some more context regarding thsi tank and the free to play counterpart (progetto) to me it looks like a worst platform with a better gun basically
Nah thanks. Gun handling inferior to char futur, can barely go backwards, intraclip is more like temporary DPM boost than clip and it's only advantage. Seems interesting and balanced, worth resources only if you have everything else IMHO. I think playing it without bond equipment to improve gun can be actually frustrating.
"I will show you what this tank is capable of..." - keeps shooting IS-3 with gold, which is a feat that even my worst 7 Tier tanks can accomplish. ... On the other hand, he just snaps T30 right next to the mantlet with a 0.34 accuracy gun, meanwhile my 0.28 accuracy GSOR cannot even hit the turret as a whole. Yeah, I dont have the unicum RNG.
btw if you noticed, he only has gold in the vehicle so he didn't have much choice about shooting the IS3 with gold rounds did he? Also, about your GSOR 1008 missing fully aimed shots, kinda sounds like a skill issue to me :)
@@nostalgicleopard4036 Nope, GSOR just doesnt shoot towards the middle of the aiming reticle AT ALL. Of 4 shots, 1 goes towards the ground, 1 goes right, and 2 go left. Even Caliban has a better chance of hitting the middle of the aiming reticle, it has nothing to do with skill.

They are basically in pure braindead denial. They can see the situation like it is, but keep their eyes and ears closed and pretend that its different.
I will pass on it. I see no reason to choose this tank over a Leopard 1. The gun is derpish trollish, meaning that the auto loader isn’t that great for DPG/DPM when a Leo can simplify keep cranking out accurate shots. The standard penetration of 248 and velocity of only 1080 is terrible, so you can expect to go -40,000+ credits each game from premium ammo. Terrible terrible reticle bloom when moving or turning turret. It’s just not work 55k gold or a composite of items worth the same. I will sit on my xp/gold/BPs until next time.
Try to imagine that not everyone plays whats good but whats fun as long as its not utter garbage like lets say patton with sherman derp gun. I like prog 65 even tho its really bad and i would love to play this tank. So yeah thats the reason to choose this over leo
I love your closing comment. That really sums the whole thing up. If you're spending more than 30 Eu it isn't worth it. This confirmed my feelings about the tank. While I could afford it (there are still 800+ available on the NA server as I watched this video), after watching a couple of other reviews and what I read about it. it jsut isn't worth stripping my account down to lees than 100k free XP, along with depleting my blueprint fragments and then gold and bonds on top of it. Not the deal for me, thank you Wargaming. Keep the gameplay videos coming, I love your explanations, but also seeing where you play form on the various maps.
If you are a collector, maybe. Otherwise i think its not worth getting. For the best dpm (3200), you have to be on the 3rd shot the whole time. The STB achives that with no modules and downsides. And if you want that auto reloader clip, you can use the progetto 65 without the abyssmal 20 secs reload on the 4th shot. Could be an interesting tank, but WG really want to drain the players of their christmas lootboxes.
How is having to be on the 3rd shot a disadvantage? When you have a full clip, you have 5600 dpm. At worst you drop to like 3.7k. So you shoot 3 times at 5600 DPM, then you have STB DPM with higher alpha and somehow that's bad?
Well as someone, who has many, many free exp. from tier VIII premium battles (yea, it took many months, maybe even years to collect), I'm going for this tank. What I prefer about tanks is, how they are looking and also how much enjoyable is their game play. This tank looks both very nice and super fun to play. However, we all know how WG's optimizations of these events work. I just hope that it won't crash every second.

From Caravan to Black Market, then Assembly and lots of gold to free exp conversion discounts happened. people should have expected this is coming and saved free exp. worth it or not. It's to my satisfaction to have this tank with free exp and blueprint fragments.

Nah thanks. Gun handling inferior to char futur, can barely go backwards, intraclip is more like temporary DPM boost than clip and it's only advantage. Seems interesting and balanced, worth resources only if you have everything else IMHO. I think playing it without bond equipment to improve gun can be actually frustrating.

On the other hand, he just snaps T30 right next to the mantlet with a 0.34 accuracy gun, meanwhile my 0.28 accuracy GSOR cannot even hit the turret as a whole. Yeah, I dont have the unicum RNG.
btw if you noticed, he only has gold in the vehicle so he didn't have much choice about shooting the IS3 with gold rounds did he?
Also, about your GSOR 1008 missing fully aimed shots, kinda sounds like a skill issue to me :)
@@nostalgicleopard4036 Nope, GSOR just doesnt shoot towards the middle of the aiming reticle AT ALL. Of 4 shots, 1 goes towards the ground, 1 goes right, and 2 go left. Even Caliban has a better chance of hitting the middle of the aiming reticle, it has nothing to do with skill.

The game stats are basically all bollocks, its 90% RNG.
They are basically in pure braindead denial. They can see the situation like it is, but keep their eyes and ears closed and pretend that its different.
I will pass on it. I see no reason to choose this tank over a Leopard 1. The gun is derpish trollish, meaning that the auto loader isn’t that great for DPG/DPM when a Leo can simplify keep cranking out accurate shots. The standard penetration of 248 and velocity of only 1080 is terrible, so you can expect to go -40,000+ credits each game from premium ammo.
Terrible terrible reticle bloom when moving or turning turret. It’s just not work 55k gold or a composite of items worth the same. I will sit on my xp/gold/BPs until next time.
Try to imagine that not everyone plays whats good but whats fun as long as its not utter garbage like lets say patton with sherman derp gun. I like prog 65 even tho its really bad and i would love to play this tank. So yeah thats the reason to choose this over leo

I love your closing comment. That really sums the whole thing up. If you're spending more than 30 Eu it isn't worth it. This confirmed my feelings about the tank. While I could afford it (there are still 800+ available on the NA server as I watched this video), after watching a couple of other reviews and what I read about it. it jsut isn't worth stripping my account down to lees than 100k free XP, along with depleting my blueprint fragments and then gold and bonds on top of it. Not the deal for me, thank you Wargaming. Keep the gameplay videos coming, I love your explanations, but also seeing where you play form on the various maps.
I think this tank is going to be one of the best mediums. Worth my credits

If you are a collector, maybe. Otherwise i think its not worth getting.
For the best dpm (3200), you have to be on the 3rd shot the whole time. The STB achives that with no modules and downsides.
And if you want that auto reloader clip, you can use the progetto 65 without the abyssmal 20 secs reload on the 4th shot.
Could be an interesting tank, but WG really want to drain the players of their christmas lootboxes.
How is having to be on the 3rd shot a disadvantage? When you have a full clip, you have 5600 dpm. At worst you drop to like 3.7k. So you shoot 3 times at 5600 DPM, then you have STB DPM with higher alpha and somehow that's bad?
@@lucanicolasstefan4788 That's not how DPM works. You can not do 5600 damage in a single minute with this tank, so it does NOT have 5600 DPM.
Well as someone, who has many, many free exp. from tier VIII premium battles (yea, it took many months, maybe even years to collect), I'm going for this tank. What I prefer about tanks is, how they are looking and also how much enjoyable is their game play. This tank looks both very nice and super fun to play. However, we all know how WG's optimizations of these events work. I just hope that it won't crash every second.
