Mutz is my first ever 3 mark tank? It really taught me how to play medium tanks and since then i was able to 3 mark all tier 10 meds

I had issues viewing tanks in the index but then saw the notice on the homepage that I had to logout and login and it worked. Thanks again for the great resource :)
This tank is decent. Not as powerful as the Progetto, Bourrasque or 122TM but it can do its job properly. The alpha wasn't buffed to 280 like with the other german tanks using the 88 mm gun but it can still perform well.

An alpha buff to 280-300 would be so good. Indien pz would also be better finally. I also feel like the Indien would fit the leo line much better with higher alpha.

I had fun in that tank. The black variant.
A problem with this tank is that it was passivly nerfed, as most other german mediums got there alpha up with the 8,8 cm. Mutz has 250, and all the others now have 280. without reload nerf. Also, in my opinion the tank is not fast enough to make up for the low dpm and bad armor. Since the buff for the 8,8cm, I would say that the Panther 88 is the better tank. I have over 1000 battles with both tanks.
Thats only 3 german medium tanks, who got that buff and one of them is the tier 9 e50. The other 2 are the Panther 2 and the Premium Panther at tier 8. The Indian panzer has the 250 Alpha too and no buff yet.
I honestly prefered the E50 with the previous 3.6 reload that could be achieved with bond equipment, BIA and consumables. It was a permatrack machine but the problem is how expensive it is with the 88 mm gun. For tanks like the Tiger 1 and the Panther it feels nice though.

Funny story, I was playing M44 (I know I'll go to hell) and our LT flipped on his side, I went to unflip him under enemy fire and died doing so (Enemy GW panther got me in the end). seeing me dead he went trololo to enemy base screaming VENGEANCE in the chat and killed the GW panther, he died doing so... It was one of my favorite battle ever in WoT :)

I'm probably one of the few that would suggest the index has gone backwards: I've been gaming for almost 30yrs, & my hand hurts, sometimes quite badly, so when I suddenly have to click more times than before, a thing has got worse. I also use ad-block, but that's partly because it literally hurts not to.
Need to add another set of stars to the index for ease of credit making.

I hate and love this tank in the same time. The gold ammo velocity is insane(1400 something) but im still missing soo many random shots
It's my Leo training tank. Got this before grinding the leo MT line. It's pretty good. Fun to shoot 400 damage every 6 seconds on paper tanks.

I find this tank pretty decent for sniper schnitzeling, I like pull this tank if I don't feel like playing competitively.
Hey, I completed the millionpugs event and placed high enough to earn the m41 light tank, but I'm not sure how to claim it and it hasn't shown up. Does anyone know how to claim it or what I'm doing wrong?
For me the panzer 58 mutz is one of the nicest tier VIII meds because it has a nice gun and good view range so you can get a lot of assists and your shots rarely miss. Of course, this is my opinion and you may have a different opinion about it.
Regarding the view range, dont forget that while the tank has 390m base, the Commander is also the Radio operator, which is a problem if you dont have a very good crew, because many other german tanks have a dedicated Radio operator

Yes, Mutz can do the job on sniping and/or spotting. the one drawback it has it is the weak armor - is it the weakest of any tier 8's mediums? the 2 cupolas even make you avoid playing hulldown.

Needs effective turret armor OR much faster aim time.
I don't think that every tanks needs turret armor. I totally agree this tank needs a way better aim time
Alternatively, leave the aim time what it is and buff the accurracy instead, so that it gets around 0.27 when maxed out (without improved aiming unit)! 🤔
Most unsatisfying feeling is to aim foe ages and miss, because gun says "Oh look, a mole! Lets hit him instead of enemy!" 🤣

The gun is weird. Fully aimed, you almost never, ever miss.
But 95% aimed? Miss badly.
It reminds me of the Leopard from back in the day, before Wargaming buffed the soft stats.
Second game was best i saw in a while in WOT.
I always treated the Mutz as a a cross between a Cromwell and a Leopard. One of the best purchases I made in game.(got in on the black market event for 3.5 million credits iirc). Funny thing is, the Panzer 58 had 2 other guns, the British 20 pounder, and the L7. They made the copy with the black skin, but they could have made it more desirable to buy if they had given it the 20 pounder.
Imagine if it had an L7, and a working 20mm coaxial...
like so many older prems it just isnt meta :( Not a bad tank and can still have decent games but to many tanks have more alpha or real armor or true mobility ........ needs lots of love(buff) and could be top ten again

No you can't.
This Tank is like a faster indian Pz with no protection. That being said throw back to when this tank, AMX CDC, and M4 rev competed for the best premium medium tank. Also today is day TWENTY TWO asking for Charlemagne:)

I somehow cant manage to make this thing work...
I have my second MOE on it and think ill achieve the thrid as well, but im at above 500 battles now and still below 50% win ratio...
It feels like this tank is cursed:
Traverse Speed like a battleship combined witj trollish armor, which denies service in the most important moments. That weird combination is topped by some of the worst dpm on its tier and even its defined as a "sniper tank", even my progetto 46 is more precise🤦♂️
All in all that tank lags stand-alone capacity for me and i will really be lucky when i managed to get it over the 50% WR so i can sell it 🎉
240 alpha is unplayable at t8 for me at least (except for prog) 2/5

This tank can work with Camo
on Mutz you can't apply camo, but the camo-rating is same as for Pz.58 with camo applied. thats the sole difference on the 3 Pz58 , std/Black/Mutz clones in WOT. I am not sure if you can put extra camo on Black
My only 8 tier premium tank which I bought for bonds on my F2P acc. I loved that tank, you need to think when you are playing it. Not playing or watch WoT content for more than 1 year, but I need to write this comment and like the video for all good memories I get from the game, skill4ltu clan and from watching the skill4ltu of course. They don't really matter much.
As long as your tank isn't stock and you have an equipment mounted you're good to go.
This tank was good in 2018, its been a while its an average tank. many other meds can med better, and if you wanna snipe, buy a sniper prem and have a greater time!
In Greek the word MUTZA, it means to throw all 5 fingers in the other person's face - lol 😂
I understand your thoughts about Pz mutz, but imo it's a bad tank, and not a versatile one.
I say so because you have paper armor (only some lucky bounces sometimes), you can allmost only snipe with that tank.
Plus only good features of this tank are good HE pen, good gun dep, great gold shells (velocity is godlike) and good accuracy when fully aimed, that's it.
Mobility is mid for a med tank, armor allmost doesn't exist, alpha dmg is low, dpm is nothing great => in this meta as med, you eather want to have good alpha dmg, or autoloader, if you a have none, then a bit of turret armor.
This tank has none of those things.
You can't do much other than snipe, there are just SO MUCH better tanks.
IMO, tanks which used to be average like 2 years ago (such as this tank) are now kinda bad.
I don't hate this tank, I just hope WG would buff it a bit, cuz it's just a tank which everyone forgets about.
I have two marks of excrllence on it and will get the thrid one soon but since i bought it 500 battles ago, i still am below 50% ratio - how can that be? It feels liek cursed 😅
IMO Mutz has no property above average but to compensate it has only one weakness, armor - or the complete absence of it. armor for a med is not that relevant even so it is nice you have some like turrets of centurion or 122tm enabling you to go proper hulldown. looking on Progetto ... what armor? So nothing is realy shining and one minor thing is bad, makes this a tank bad? not necessarily, but for sure this makes Mutz a hard tank to play with and definitly not beginner friendly. It can have a 3 of 5 star rating but with the big warning. on a 10 star scale for me it would clearly be on 5 but not 6 stars

But for exemple, CDC has also only one bad thing which is also the armor, though I think we can both agree that CDC is a bad tank.
Progetto has no turret armor, but it has an autoreloader.
What mostly makes mutz a bad tank, in my opinion once again, is the fact that there are too much other tanks which fill the same role while being much stronger.
Btw, turret armor can be very relevant on a med, depending of the gameplay of that one, if tanks like 121b and Cent AX had the same turret armor as a Leo 1, these tank would be much much worse.

This is the only premium tank I have ever sold. Gun pissed me off too much.
I only ever played it on sandbox server, and it worked really well. On paper the stats are worse than Indien Panzer, but for me, it was the other way around.
This thing just doesn't work for me. very outdated :'d I used to like it a lot when it first came out but now it's just sitting in my garage collecting dust.
I couldn't stand this piece of poopoo... I traded it for a Kpz 07 and boy oh boy, what a beautiful upgrade that was
I hated this tank with Intensity. The low alpha made sure nobody respects you and higher tiers just push you out of existence without any problems.
You have no armor and lots of tanks can pen you with their HE which makes the tank even harder to play. Some people call this the Leopard 1 of Tier 8, which is completly bs as the accuracy is miles away from a Leo 1. Sold it in the last six months and bought a EVEN 90 for it. Best choice I ever made in WOT. Stay away from this pile of crap unless you are a fluffy superunicum that appreciates the challenge.
i feel like this tank is pointless, the fact that it is at the same tier as bourrasqueis ridiculous
