My life: My first marathon was Detroit 2022 I was at 128lbs. I ran a 3.31. My 2nd Marathon was last May at Traverse City for Bayshore Marathon. I weighted at 140lbs and ran a 3.17. Heavier doesn't mean slower. Lift them weights runners💪
Was 5 foot 11 at 116, had sorcery and couldn’t run for 8 months, but am now starting to get back into it, am at 125 rn and am running 3 to 5 miles per day 💪💪💪

Bro do you not cramp up only drinking water every 10 miles? I run with lightly salted water in my camelback definitely helps with my cramping, but on the downside the added weight strains my muscles a bit more.
I been getting back into running again. Working overnights messed my flow up so I stopped for about 6 months. Earlier this week I did 5 miles and my heart rate was at 180 average for 37 mins I was dying, then 3 days later I had a official run for same distance and I did a 150 average the whole run Idk how that happened lol.
Milk during/after a run just blows my mind from years ago. Just throwing up instantly by pairing anything dairy related with running. How did that make sense?!?! Please explain someone!
Eat more brother. Running and lifting just by itself burns tons of calories. You need to top off your body with extra nutrition for recovery. On top of that take off down week, then slowly increase mileage and training intensity. If the knee still hurts go see a Dr.
Hey Jeremy nice runs ! However you don’t think back to back 20 milers r overtraining ? Also I been doing squats twice week 5x5 but I notice it kinda hurts my running frequency sometimes hurts my recovery little do u think I need lighten weight up for squats ? Or maybe do deadlifts for strength lower body bec deadlifts don’t make me as sore as squats do during my runs weekly mileage . U think I need work on 2 long runs week at easy pace for faster marathon ?
This isn’t overtraining for me, but that’s super subjective. As for squats, maybe try doing 3x8 with lighter weight. Or like you said, try more deadlifts. I find deadlifts don’t leave me sore at all, but squats can wreck me for a few days
Oh ok Jeremy , sorry I see your training for 100k big distance ! That’s why you’re doing back back long runs. My marathon is in 3 months and I’m trying get 3 40 or under been stuck for 5 years but finnaly feel like I’m getting faster , I ran my fastest 15 miler at 820 pace today . I’m doing myrtle beach marathon and it seems like since 2019 it always seems be warm and humid race day. U think I need do more 8-830 pace 18-20 milers try get 3 40 or under for marathon ? My best time was 4 hours 1 min 2019 , in 2022 i bonked and was shut down by heat humidty myrtle beach ended up running 4 hours 16 min. I’m hoping for cooler weather this time and a lot faster finish I been stuck 5 years but now I feel Faster as running 15-18 milers 830-850 pace range
@@jeremy.milleris it just me or do long runs at an easy pace not affect recovery, but to me faster track and interval work is what’s hard to recover from.
@@jeremy.miller If you have time and don't kind me asking, why do you pass on static stretching? I've heard that it's no good pre-run, but that it's beneficial after a run. Just wondering if you've got any insight that I might be missing. Thanks for your time!
If you run more, you'll probably lose explosive power, since you'll most likely be lifting less and putting a different stress on your leg muscles and therefore will adapt to be better at running.
I intentionally ran as close to my max aerobic threshold as possible to simulate my effort on race day. Most of my easy training runs are between 125-145 bpm
Everyone is different based on fitness ,age and resting heart rate . A lot of time you have to equate that into your heart rate training . But heart rate training is the best 💪
@@chrisklappich5998 I’ve been drinking it for over a year with zero issues. There’s plenty of other (worse) things to worry about than some raw milk in my opinion

Really commendable Stamina, became fan of your workouts. Inspiring and motivating for me
“You’re gonna want some of this” as he throws back an entire gallon of milk😂
This guy has inspired me to run more
this is my goal for sure
Amazing video 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Wow so many others running everywhere!

Should I do forward kicks with the band?

Love your videos and content. Any advice? I run and lift, but I have been having knee pain.
Sit in a deep squat holding on to something for 5 minutes every day

Does the arm monitor sync with the garmins?
I will start jogging soon.
Curious about the cold plunge tub. Where does one get that?
Go hard ❤
Chest HRM are typically not optical and are more accurate. But definitely not as comfortable.
Hey I couldn’t spot what shoes your doing your long runs in? Looks like endorphin speed 3?
Endorphin Speed 2!

Just squat once a week. It is enough. I am a powerlifter for over 20 years.
What band do you use?
It’s from Amazon! The brand is SKLZ
Do you take any pre workout powder mix?
I use 2Before black currant powder
@jeremy.miller thank you. Just ordered some !
What else can we do for recovery after daily run other than cold plunge?
Active recovery is the best in my opinion
what is your average hear rate? please anwer) because, i have 160-165
My avg hr for these runs was 151 and 152
How much gear are u on?
😂 zero lol. I’ll take this as a compliment tho

next time i'll bring my raw milk cup 😷
what do you use to film yourself on your runs? how do you carry it?
GoPro! Just in my hand

I do not. Just some dynamic movements before speed workouts. And band work before strength

Do hills 2x a week for your stegth work and cross train core 3x a week. You don't need weights. 14:30 5ker here ;)
Man, that American Flag and coros watch/heart rate monitor are in conflict with eachother. Didn’t even know you could buy Chinese products in Texas

By raw milk do you mean unpasteurized milk?
Yes
