- New Commander of the UPDF Land Forces, the recently promoted Maj. Gen. Peter Elwelu, has lashed out at critics who want him tried at the International Criminal Court for war crimes following the attack on the Rwenzururu King's palace in Kasese town.
At a ceremony where he received the instruments of power at the Land Forces headquarters in Bombo, a few kilometers outside Kampala, Maj. Gen. Elwelu said his critics are day-dreaming.
