I think the biggest problem with BF2's story was how it was marketed as "see the star wars galaxy from the view of a loyal imperial Spec Ops soldier" and Iden's defection to the Rebels/New Republic felt so rushed. We didn't even get 3 whole missions with her, and she's already happily gunning down former comrades.
Honestly, I think it would've made more sense to play from the perspective of a regular Stormtrooper grunt. It'd make defection a more realistic prospect, and it'd allow for some good "War Is Hell" moments, like the Solo movie had with the Battle of Mimban.
Yeah I agree too, but I guess I got lucky because when I played it I had no idea of any promise the company had made and the game was already out like a year or something. I played it with no expectations and had a really good time so I'll always enjoy it for that. Although I think your idea would have made for a more interesting story
Just to verify in the base game all of the hero and villains units are unlocked from the get go now. While they were still updating the game, yes you did have to unlock them with credits but after they started adding more prequels content they fixed to where they all available to play as from the get go.
It was more that people were pissed about the predatory monetization system that ruined the game, so the developers were pressured to change things in order to keep the game alive.
My problem and most people's problem with BF2's story was not the writing per say, but rather the fact they straight up lied to us with the marketing, we all got hyped for FINALLY a story that takes place on the side of the bad guys, but Iden defects to the rebels immediately.
For those interested, like in the "old" Battlefront 2, the modding scene has accomplished a milestone with modding the newer Battlefront 2 for PC. They have implemented new heroes like Ashoka, some Bad Batch characters and a lot from the Battlefront 1 like Dengar, Greedo. With this mod especially newer players will have an enormous plus experience with these mods. Sadly they don't exist for consoles. I highly recommend TheOzzyJedi, who did a whole vid dedicated to the mods for Battlefront 2.
Im so glad someone finally brought up the visual differences between 1 and 2, 1 just feels so much more beautiful and immersive i don’t know how to describe it
I spent a lot of time comparing the graphics of the two over the years, so I can kinda describe it. In 2015/2016 DICE really pushed the frostbite engine to the limit with some of the most realistic looking games: Battlefront 2015 and Battlefield 1. BF1 used photogrammetry for EVERYTHING (It had lower poly/less detailed models but in return had higher rez textures) and actually modeled the maps off real landscapes. The particle effects were made to look as close to the movie as possible. The lighting/shadows was also very impressive. They really spent a lot of time making the areas feel alive and real. Not only that but BF2015 also had events happening outside the map (space battles, etc) which changed depending on how the game progressed (on Jakku the super star destroyer can be destroyed and come crashing down in the background) BF2015 was made will the sole purpose to immerse you inside of star wars and truly make you feel like you was there. BF2 on the otherhand did not use photogrammetry for most things (it has higher poly/more detailed models with lower rez textures) and the maps were made with the linear design of GA in mind. The particle effects were reduced heavily in multiple ways. The lighting/shadows were also heavily downgraded. Due to how much content they was focusing on, they wasn't able to make the maps feel alive and real and couldn't have many of the small details that made 2015's maps so great.
Sadly, for what I understand, EA seems to have no interest in continuing the Battlefront series. Mainly because next year they loose the exclusivity deal (so probably the Respawn games will be the last Star Wars games from them). Hopefully, someone in the future will revive the series. I would love to see a new take on the Battlefront formula. That said. It's going to be quite confusing the day when we have three Battlefront 1s and three Battlefront 2s, but no Battlefront 3.
Thank you for being so fair to the new games. There’s so many folks out there that hate them simply for not being the old Battlefront games. They’re both some of my favorite games ever but lots of people never even gave them a chance.
I mean, vehicle and infantry combat was the main focus of the old battlefronts. They were based off of battlefield. The new games had garbage vehicle combat that wouldn’t make a difference if removed and the core classes are all the same (anti-infantry). How can you call yourself a battlefront game yet share nothing with the classics besides the most shallow shit.
Heroes vs Villains is definitely a learning curve, but once you get it, it's some of the most fun I've had in a multiplayer game. Also, the player base on PS4 is still very active
I wanted to say, for the star card system in battlefront II, if you feel like you're at a disadvantage with less cards even if you have higher mechanical skill, literally play co op for like half an hour. To get all starcards in the base classes maxed, you only need to reach level 37. And for simply getting 5 or 6 cards maxed out, you only need level 25. Getting there is fast as HELL through only a few co op matches. And co op is also a good place to learn the mechanics, and even though you're technically 'grinding' for your cards, co op really doesnt feel like a grind. It's more casual, immersive, and really fun. And for people interested in getting into HVV or becoming a duelist type player, you can level your heroes in co op the same way. Nowadays it's even quicker, because double and tripple XP events are on wednesday and on the weekends so WAY more frequent. Same goes for weapons. Saying the powerful weapons are locked behined progression isn't a great way to describe it, as you literally only need 50, 100, 200 and 400 kills to get those weapons. And the blasters arent even put in the order of HOW POWERFUL they are. For example, the best assault weapon is the A-280... and it's the first one you unlock. Most people would expect the best blaster to be 400 kills and the worst to be 50, but the best assault blaster, (most people also agree that it's the best in the game overall) is literally only 50 kills, which can easily be done in a single co op game. And that system is also the same with the cards. The 'best' star cards aren't put at the highest level. Like how you can't unlock some cards until level 30, that doesnt mean that the best cards are after level 30. Sometimes, the best star card loadout for a class or character will be the first 3 cards you unlock. So, if you dont want to be at a competitive disadvantage, look up the best loadouts and blasters for ur favorite class, and go for those. It will only take 2-3 games of co op to get. BTW The 5th blaster for each class requires 100 kills in SPECIFICALLY co op only. They were added in the last update, which is why they are different. And for the heavy, that gun is the T-21 which only takes 100 kills in co op and is objectively the best blaster in the game. It is kind of hard to use, but it can one shot any class if you can land all 3 burst shots. And it only takes 100 kills in co op to get.
BF1 had enjoyable gameplay, especially as the heroes. Thing is, the game had barely any content, at least for multiplayer to keep you coming back. The Heroes vs. Villains mode where 2 teams have 3 heroes each and they duke it out while being protected by soldiers was easily the best mode in the game. Was way too fun.
This. The first Battlefront didn’t have much content, but the gameplay was so fun it made me and my friends come back constantly. What ultimately killed our enjoyment, was how op the weapons and equipment of the season pass players were. On the other hand, Battlefront II had tons of content, but it felt a step back in gameplay with its restrictive classes and the points system that killed the enjoyment for me during matches, since all I could think about was how many points were missing so I could be X hero/unit/ship. Those should have been unlocked as the match progressed, like in the old games.
@@Dass_Jennirbattlefront should have classes, that’s the one of the cores of a battlefront game besides vehicle combat. The problem was the classes were pointless in ea battlefront 2 as they all did the same thing but they had different weapons. They were all anti-infantry, there was no medic or engineer. I don’t even know why they bothered to have classes in their second game.
If only we had a game that was essentially all of Battlefront 2 with the absolutely gorgeous graphics and aesthetics of Battlefront 2015. While BF2 looks amazing, like you said theres something that’s different and it doesn’t look bad but it doesn’t look as good.
@@koraegiI’d rather have an actual battlefront game that has the formula of the classics. People who liked ea battlefront 2 can go play garden warfare and imagine it as Star Wars.
Part of the reason that battlefront 2 isn’t quite as good as 1 visually is because for the first game the development team went to different real life locations and used photogrammetry to put them into the game, they also had access to many of the original models used in the films. This approach was extremely time consuming though and I think they dropped it in the second game so they could make more maps and content without a huge development time
Sincerely, these two BF are amazing. Multiplayer 40/40 felt like a real war. It was amazing to hear and see the ship, blasters, AT-AT, AT-ST, and heroes in just one match. It was a complete shitshow in a good way
@@BuzzingMeat I agree. I can say something negative about every galactic assualt map. Also cheap vehicles easily killing heroes is garbage. I don't know what Dice were thinking. I want another star wars online shooter just so I can move on. I'm thankful for the fun I have in Battle Front 2 EA but ever so often the problems show their face.
The real reason people say that the story for the single player game has bad writing is because in the days leading up to the games release, we where told that you play as the Empire. This is what people where hyped for going in, to play the game on the side of the bad guys. But then right after the first thre or so mission you switch to being the good guys. This rightly pissed people off.
DICE's Battlefront 1 had a mobile companion app with a base defense gamemode, where you used the star cards you had unlocked in the main game to protect the base It was a neat little thing
When playing hero showdown ask to do 1v1 everytime you get into a match... That gamemode specifically it's generally considered for that and most players respect the 1v1 (MOST OF THE TIME)
the problem with the campaign was that it was the generic shirt DICE campaign with little to no lore expansion and a promise to be the emprie that was unfullfilled within 3 missions it was an even more generic "bad guy turn good" story than anything
@@zombiadepths5013 They really are. Sorry to say, but you're delusional. Majority of Disney SW in general is mediocre at best; there's no hope for modern day SW while Kathleen Kennedy is president and/or while Disney holds the rights

I do agree with you it can be so much better, but there is so much hope for star wars. The past two years and the future have contained the most star wars content we've received ever. And they fuck up in some places like TROS, BOBF and some parts of Kenobi but they've shown that they can do good.
I’m pretty sure they got rid of the whole locked hero thing ages ago Around the same time they took out the lootboxes Cuz I picked up this game shortly after Anakin was released and none of the heroes were locked at all It was actually after Anakin was nerfed that I picked it up
I honestly don't know why they didn't keep the battlefield style gameplay of the og battlefronts especially with DICE developing the games Makes no sense
not to mention the fact that the Campaign is canon. yeah theres the whole "false advertsing" fiasco that people talk about but at the end of the day the story wasnt that bad and had some pretty cool highs and since its a video game and canon i feel like im apart of an elite club that non gamer fans dont know about. cause i believe the was the first modern day video game that was canonised especially after disney bought the license. and lastly, the modding community carrying on the torch and the life of this game. props to all the modders for carrying such a heavy weight.
1v1 saber fights in Battlefront 2 are really fun. And it was the reason i loved the game as you could get really good duels and in the end it didn't matter if you won or lost.
In a perfect world, there will be a Battlefront III that has no P2W mechanics. No loot boxes. No star cards. It would have fully defined and carefully balanced classes. And everything is free and/or easily unlockable through in-game achievements. With enough content to rival the game that came out in 2005.
Honestly, I prefer the new SWBF2 even with how unbalanced and buggy and unfun it can be. I love all the classes and special soldiers, especially with troopers and key troopers. And I like how every hero and villain are unique in gameplay. Game was extremely fun and frustrating, especially with friends
The classes are the same and they encourage no teamplay. Heavy is an anti-infantry class, I think it’s suppose to be anti-vehicles but it’s explosives take forever to kill vehicles and I see it’s equipment only used for killing people. Assault is just anti-infantry. Officer is anti-infantry, but it can give a small buff to teammates. Specialist is anti-infantry. Only difference is the gun used. The one thing this game did good was the reinforcements and heroes with the game design it was going for which was a hero shooter. I could care less if people shared same stuff (every force user should have basic force powers like force push and pull).
Hey man great video. The thing you should look into for DICE related visual changes is called photogrammetry. Dice devs have presented about it at conferences before. Cheers
You hit on one reason I went from Battlefront to Planetside 2. In PS2 as far as equipment goes starting weapons are often the best. Unlockable weapons can specialize your play but when getting your feet wet the starter weapons are solid. Once I started playing I liked the massive maps, the alert system the 3 sided fights and the fact these servers often have hundreds of people on at a time, sometimes even 1,000+ leading to some battles so chaotic I have no clue what is happening.
Wow another person who had that demo disc! I don't hear too many people say they had it. I was a Star Wars as a kid already thanks to my grandpa. But that demo disc and maybe another that had Lego star wars made me even more excited.
Ayyy subscribed to see this one! I love your videos, I've gone back and watched all of them. I really can see you channel blowing up to crazy heights with the quality you provide. Very excited for the future content, keep it up man!
I really love your overall positivity when taking things that are generally disliked, like EA's Battlefront 2's campaing, you just earned a new subscriber!
Supremacy was added in about a month after the Geonosis update, later they changed it to capital supremacy. The Galactic Civil war Era was supposed to have capital ships but they were removed because EA wanted to kill the game before they could even finish the Scarif update, which added supremacy for GCW, so they could have all hand on decks for Battlefield 2042. The last time Star Fighter Assault/ Star Fighter Hero had an update was when the Last Jedi came out, hence why the lobbies for it were barren. After EA killed BF2 the main hero designed said that the next update would have had Ashoka and Ventrus, as well as Mustafar as a map. Grievous was going to be in the base game but was held back due to his model not working properly. The celebration edition only unlocks every non gold rank skin, emote, and voice line, ie old master Maul, his Kenobi scream, Luke in his farm boy attire, etc... The Campaign’s short epilogue with Iden and her daughter were held back so it could released alongside The Last Jedi. Also there is some concept art that was shone off before the game came out of Obi Wan’s delta 7 chased by Jango’s Slave 1 but they were never added due to the studio responsible for space combat leaving the game after the Last Jedi update.
Most complains were about the whole ''PLAY AS THE EMPIRE!!!!!'' premise when apparently you dont get to play that much as part of the empire and the main character defects to the rebels. Like, wow its not like that has never been done before right?
Lmao I remember when choosing diorama mode meant having to spend the next 3 minutes regretting your life choices as you waited for it to load so you could back out and choose multiplayer
The Ewok Hunt gamemode is accurate to both canons in terms of the brutality of Ewoks. People forget they tried to cook and eat Han, Luke, and Chewie. And they probably ate a few imperials after the main ground battle.
I think that it should be clarified that star cards aren't actually unlocked for Attack/Defense single player missions, neither do any of the settings work for it. On the surface, it seems like everything is unlocked, but when you spawn in the game, you'll notice that your cards are only the level you managed to unlock for them in multiplayer (Or lvl 1 if you hadn't unlocked it at all). The rate you earn points doesn't change either, and I don't think the difficulty has any effect on how hard the games are either. The options for how many ally units spawn as reinforcements and heroes works as intended, though.
Battlefront 2015 multiplayer may be dead on pc, but it’s very much alive on the console side of things. It’s most active in the evenings and on weekends. U can even find dlc matches quite regularly. And the ultimate edition is very cheap, like $12 or something, and it goes on sale often, so u can prolly cop it for like $3
I have over 550 hours and play HvV almost exclusively. I am the guy who has every character at level 200+ and plays 4 stacking with my friends. We generally play by the honor system by not ganging up on lower level players and putting the fight on hold if the game becomes a 3v4 by someone leaving.
I still play BF2 daily, and while I'm not great at infantry modes, I excel at starfighter assault. I enjoy flying in this game more than any other I've played. Personally, I can't stand the back-and-forth of Supremacy. I spent two hours on one match one time, and it was beyond aggravating. I know that Dice isn't planning another game in this series, but I really hope we get to see the characters from the campaign show up in other games/media. I think we can all agree Shriv needs to show up somewhere else in the canon.
The first battlefront remake was a lot of fun. I wish 2 had usable movie weapons. In the first one you could get the DL-44 as a primary weapon, but in 2 it’s only for solo
to be fair, you legit can't play them anymore as the playerbase just isn't there, you're lucky if you find a game with one other player at all. You can't even play them in the offline section. The DLC's were great but they are dead.
@Niosai I wish you could've been playing when this game was super active. Yeah, progression was a tad grindy, but the gameplay more than made up for it. It was just on another level. The DLC maps and game modes were also insane. Especially Bespin.
Honestly, between these two games, I prefer 2015's maps and multiplayer experience. The Bespin and Death Star DLCs are what I miss the most when playing 2017.
You didn't even mention that the heroes vs villains mode was based on the heroes vs villains mode from the original Battlefront 2. That was one of the modes I played the most back when I played that game.
I'd like to add that consoles servers for BF2 are far more plentiful. I have never had to wait more than 2 minutes to get into any game mode I want. Maybe I'm lucky but it seems like this game has a far bigger population on consoles.
People don't really play these for the story mode, achievement wise they're rare, this community is all about supremacy mode, you can also get a hero if you just sit and wait for it to open up, if you rarely die in supremacy mode too you'll get your hero really quickly. Luckily in 2 at least I've never played 1 cards don't really do much other then change your abilities so you can be Level 1 and still beat up a level 100 if you're skilled enough.
the story of bf2 was disappointing at launch because it was heavily marketed as a fully imperial campaing, and in the end the main character defects after 3 missions
Also, when you do these online games you should just post somewhere to see if other people who have the game will hop on. All in all, I've loved your breakdowns of Battlefront through the years. Especially the psp games, because a lot of people miss those games and though their a little ruff, they were my favorites as a kid. Always wished map makers for BF2 original, remade those.
To me, EAFront 1 was just a tech demo - nice to look at, but not much there in terms of gameplay. EAFront 2 after all the content updates... is what vanilla EAFront 1 should've been at launch, and it's still lacking in some areas.
My main gripe was the no true conquest mode, some classes are missing, and the way vehicles were implemented. The only true conquest mode is the age of rebellion supremacy, as it was a command post only mode, which I prefer. Clone Wars and Sequels unfortunately aren’ as they take an obnoxiously long time to finish a match with the constant tug of war between ground and space station. There were no classes such as medic and engineer. To me those were huge in the original BF2. Maybe the Heavy could have been the engineer and the assault could have been the medic? Lastly, why the heck can vehicles just not spawn on the map? That drove me crazy. I also thought it was lame that there were zero “co-op vehicles.” The best part of the original was hopping in a tank or gunship with a buddy. I will say this though. Dice NAILED the system for reinforcements and heroes. Purchasing them with in game battle points was the best way to do that in my opinion. Just not for the vehicles. I enjoy this game, but it is just frustrating how much EA and Dice neglect the source material from Pandemic’s BF games. If they fixed those things I mentioned above. I truly think this game would have been darn near perfect.
About HvV in BF2: on Xbox situation is not that bad, there are much more casual players in there (also no macroses) so you can start playing it in 2022 and become useful after a few evenings of playing. I still don't like it because of constant abbilities spam. Being pushed three times in a row, just to be frozen, mind tricked, paralyzed and pushed again is not fun at any moment
i agree with you on the difference between BF and BF2. I play BF2 all the time (i'm a weirdo who only plays AAA stawars games). I love BF2's upgrades and whatnot - but I still miss 2015's maps and vibe (BUT STAR CARDS ARE EVIL!)
Star cards are evil! The vehicle gameplay is garbage! The “classes” in ea battlefront 2 are pointless and nothing like the classics! The heroes are annoying, you kill one and a new one spawns right away so what’s the point in killing them! Map design is filled with choke points and is claustrophobic (especially for the “vehicles”).
You should have played 2015 on Xbox. People still play pretty often and the dlc maps are usually always popping on the weekend. PC not always master race.
There is a way to play the original 2 battlefront games on PS2 online today! Even if you run it in an emulator it's super fun for nostalgia just has very low to no players unless the 1 discord server has people that feel like getting on. But man do I still love the 2017 game. Got into it late but it's so fun to blast supremacy, co op, or just instant action on any map, weirdly enough only 1 map cannot be played offline with instant action, that being Crait. I love these vidies man I re watched the other 2 parts already too haha. Happily subscribed.

Which it was why it was made grindy
I wish battlefront 2 ea had the the 2015 version of heroes vs villians.
You can just play battlefield and imagine the bullets are blaster bolts
look up galactic contention
It was a complete shitshow in a good way
Its a shitshow in a good way when the maps are a decent size and not in cramped hallways.
@@josesosa3337what? These new battlefronts have choke points everywhere and they’re so claustrophobic. Garbage map design for vehicles.
I once played a supremacy match in Geonosis that lasted 4 hours. We won and that was the most satisfying thing ever.
Probably 2 of the most controversial games of history, but the ones who gave me the most fun
DICE's Battlefront 1 had a mobile companion app with a base defense gamemode, where you used the star cards you had unlocked in the main game to protect the base
It was a neat little thing
When playing hero showdown ask to do 1v1 everytime you get into a match... That gamemode specifically it's generally considered for that and most players respect the 1v1 (MOST OF THE TIME)
the problem with the campaign was that it was the generic shirt DICE campaign with little to no lore expansion and a promise to be the emprie that was unfullfilled within 3 missions
it was an even more generic "bad guy turn good" story than anything
Surprisingly enough I still find full lobbies of HvV or walker assault on Xbox. However there is nothing for the DLC maps sadly.
SWBF2 correction: It includes the only 2 eras and one failed abortion Disney era
You mean the one that doesn't exist?
Guys calm sequels ain't that horrible.
@@zombiadepths5013 They really are. Sorry to say, but you're delusional. Majority of Disney SW in general is mediocre at best; there's no hope for modern day SW while Kathleen Kennedy is president and/or while Disney holds the rights
@@xXEchoXxAssault Majority of content is mediocre, I agree lmao but Disney isnt going to kill star wars. Kathleen Kennedy isnt killing star wars either.
I do agree with you it can be so much better, but there is so much hope for star wars. The past two years and the future have contained the most star wars content we've received ever. And they fuck up in some places like TROS, BOBF and some parts of Kenobi but they've shown that they can do good.
I’m pretty sure they got rid of the whole locked hero thing ages ago
Around the same time they took out the lootboxes
Cuz I picked up this game shortly after Anakin was released and none of the heroes were locked at all
It was actually after Anakin was nerfed that I picked it up
lootboxes were just cosmetic, and they took the others out of the game before launch
quick note- if you don’t feel like grinding out levels online just play the coop mission mode because you still gain xp from it
I honestly don't know why they didn't keep the battlefield style gameplay of the og battlefronts especially with DICE developing the games
Makes no sense
The hero stuff for the first bf was like a drop, you had to find a floating symbol somewhere on the map and they had set spawn points.
I still have both of these games still. I thought they were really fun
Supremacy has given my friends and I some epic comebacks. Love the 2 phases. Good times
I really enjoy these videos! A lot of them brings some nostalgia! Maybe you could try to do a play-all of the doom series!
11:58 "Boba Fett's star ship." Ah yes the infamous Indentured Servent l.
not to mention the fact that the Campaign is canon. yeah theres the whole "false advertsing" fiasco that people talk about but at the end of the day the story wasnt that bad and had some pretty cool highs and since its a video game and canon i feel like im apart of an elite club that non gamer fans dont know about. cause i believe the was the first modern day video game that was canonised especially after disney bought the license. and lastly, the modding community carrying on the torch and the life of this game. props to all the modders for carrying such a heavy weight.
Battlefront 2 is so fucking good now. I play it daily.
Also no grind- just play co op, trust me, your welcome
Really liked your 3 Videos on the Star wars Battlefront Games :D
My waiting lists on "i played every" series:
GTA
kingdom hearts
Mafia
Yakuza games
Metal gear games

Your vids are very unique
I look forward to watching more of your vids of this type
Battlefront 2 isnt gridny ever week wensday is triple exp and sometimes there is double exp i love this game and there still tons of players
That Battlefront 4 concept is amazing. Ill definitely watch a video devoted to that
Hey man great video.
Glad to see a ea battlefront video that's not pissy whiny griping the whole time
Wow another person who had that demo disc!
11:54 Slave 1.
Boba Fett’s starship is named Slave 1.
And no Disney-canon will tell me otherwise.
Demonitization.

22:36 Willems moment
I still play BF2 daily, and while I'm not great at infantry modes, I excel at starfighter assault. I enjoy flying in this game more than any other I've played. Personally, I can't stand the back-and-forth of Supremacy. I spent two hours on one match one time, and it was beyond aggravating. I know that Dice isn't planning another game in this series, but I really hope we get to see the characters from the campaign show up in other games/media. I think we can all agree Shriv needs to show up somewhere else in the canon.
I love the bf2 coop mode so much it's amazing
The first battlefront remake was a lot of fun. I wish 2 had usable movie weapons. In the first one you could get the DL-44 as a primary weapon, but in 2 it’s only for solo
one of my favoruite shorts showed a character interaction bettween obiiwan and grievuss the hello there from ep3
Damn!! Well done on getting the whole series finished!
not comparing the DLC/season pass of BF1 was a lil shady, it overall improved the game and content
to be fair, you legit can't play them anymore as the playerbase just isn't there, you're lucky if you find a game with one other player at all. You can't even play them in the offline section.
The DLC's were great but they are dead.
I miss Battlefront 2015. That was probably the most fun I've ever had in a multiplayer game.
Battlefront 2015 just hit different. Even Battlefront 2 felt different, and while it was better IMO, there was something special about the first one.
@Niosai I wish you could've been playing when this game was super active. Yeah, progression was a tad grindy, but the gameplay more than made up for it. It was just on another level. The DLC maps and game modes were also insane. Especially Bespin.
Oh yes, we are in the “sense of pride and accomplishment” era of Battlefront.
Dude you’re not trippin at all about bf1 looking better due to the lighting engine. I was thinking the same thing when I first got the game
Honestly, between these two games, I prefer 2015's maps and multiplayer experience. The Bespin and Death Star DLCs are what I miss the most when playing 2017.
Galactic Assault is so chaotic in Battlefront 2
You didn't even mention that the heroes vs villains mode was based on the heroes vs villains mode from the original Battlefront 2. That was one of the modes I played the most back when I played that game.
I hope you feel a sense of proud and accomplishment after all this hard work you've accumulated with this retrospective...
I'd like to add that consoles servers for BF2 are far more plentiful. I have never had to wait more than 2 minutes to get into any game mode I want. Maybe I'm lucky but it seems like this game has a far bigger population on consoles.
I wish you could have tried battlefront 1’s heroes vs villains mode. The most fun I’ve had in either game
We need a whole video on that demo disc to see what else was there.
I hope you cover the dark forces/jedi knight games next! :D
Had they just been upfront and called these Star Wars "Battlefield", they could've avoided a lot of headache
It’s finally here. Let’s go.
You should now do a video on either the 2022 mod or plus mod for bf2 and the changes they make!
To me, EAFront 1 was just a tech demo - nice to look at, but not much there in terms of gameplay. EAFront 2 after all the content updates... is what vanilla EAFront 1 should've been at launch, and it's still lacking in some areas.
good job on the sponsor
There are a few discord groups for BF2015 that organize dlc or normal matches during the weekends.

@@Theladywiththeblackdress I just asked a question
PLEASE do the Virtua Fighter series!
Niosai content always deliver
I didn't even play a Battlefront game before
You forget that arcade has the only form of single player starfighters in the game.
11:57 Slave 1
Yea. They told me I was crazy when I said that Battlefront 1's graphics was better.
Thank you!
If you haven't picked up a game series or franchise that has games try the Sid Mierers games they are a ton of fun.
You should play every Mortal Kombat game !! :3
I just wish the bots version of Instant Action could be played with a friend.
"Boba Fett's ship" aka Slave 1
Boba Fett's starship, otherwise known as Slave1.
DICE tried too hard to differentiate Battlefront from Battlefield when it really just needed to be a Battlefield clone.
