As I recall, those touch buttons use neon lamps that are just below their strike voltage. Your finger provides enough voltage to make it light up and current to start flowing. It’s a really clever design.
These are beautiful epic traction elevators. Love love 💕 the design of them especially the cab view, wooden doors, the buttons , the classic leveling and the floor passing unicater. It runs very great too
Brand/Company: OTIS Buttons: touch Door type: Center Opening Number of elevators: 4 Number of floors: 14 People filming: with Jason Amazing Beautiful and Epic elevators! I really hope the high rise are still original as of April 2024! Very tasteful mod in my opinion! I love innovation decorator!
Hey Andrew next time your locomotive crosses through Tennessee, could ya give an extra pull on the horn? A good friend died, who loved the rails, and I can’t get back there. So i figure the next best thing is one last whistle from the fright trains he loved so. If you can it would be appreciated, if you can’t I understand. Have a blessed day.
A-ha! I know this one. It's in the former First Interstate Bank building on 17th and .... uh Welton, I think. I had recorded this one back in 2010 (but lost that one) and more recently. There is another video of someone else attempting to record this elevator but got run off by security. I hope those lousy slap-ons were not a taste to come for all the elevators. I recorded these before 2020 and only the high-rise ones. To answer your question, there _is_ a service elevator. I had actually ridden it in the late 1990s while doing some work in the building as a temp-worker. It's on the northwest of the building from the lobby. I actually tried to hit it when I had recorded the passenger one but it must have been out of order. I did record the landing doors, however.

Would you say Autotronic is better than Selectomatic or vise versa?
Otis is better than

Are they rare ?
@@DieselDucy UALs are as rare as Autotronics are, so yeah pretty rare. It’s the controller that Autotronics use
