(8-29-2020) This was an amazing experience! This elevator was purchased by the homeowner and cut down to size to fit his stairwell. It has a modern roped hydraulic drive system. A HUGE thanks to the homeowner for allowing me to see your elevator!

It's a nice elevator blends in so well with the home's wood decor, the roped hydraulic system was perfect with mounting on the wall. The power unit is almost silent in operation I presume it's a single phase 240V AC.

Very nice elevator. It is obvious that it is a shame that it lacks important safety devices. There is therefore a risk of serious accidents due to the lack of floor door locks or sensors that prevent the moving car from being crushed on the stairs. Since children also live in the house, retrofitting is urgently recommended.

It's a clock bell that happened to ring at the exact same time the elevator started. Notice how it didn't do that the other rides.

It probably only rings once every half hour. But I guess if you went to it at exactly 3AM it would make that chime.
