The true answer is that because the 767 is the safest trans-atlantic plane (in terms of features) it has a canopy and the sides cover pulls up so people sit inside during a water evacuation and they're used as life rafts. There is then extra space in the centre for more people. There is also a life raft located inside the airplane and that is larger and a circular dingy shape. The 767-400 has 6 of these slides with 2 regular slides and an internal life raft. The -300 has 4 of these slides etc.
@samuelli117 The escape slides can often be detatched from the airplane and used as life rafts in case of a landing on water, those side bits will help stability in rougher water and possibly, I'm not 100% sure, be used as covered compartments to provide some shelter.
The way you tell difference between a 767 and 777 is by looking at the main landing gear....767 have a two pairs of 4 wheels, a 777 will Have Two pairs of Six wheels per truck gear.

very great video!
@SEATracers thats a skid for tailstrikes. The concord had a wheel but most others do not have actual wheels.

@@Chicken4War I flew on N359AA from SFO-MIA back in 2012.
@@Chicken4War Yup this exact plane N359AA (Sorry for the long wait btw). I never flown a 767 before so this was my first time on one. :D
@@Rickanroc oh neat
@@Chicken4War Yup, although he's flying as C-FMAJ on CargoJet Airways, after being EI-GEP on Blue Panorama.

Also by The Doors and the wings.
Great video - very interesting!!
cool its one of those double slides, lets race!
The slide has two lanes for quicker evacuation from the aircraft.
have to say that looks like one of the safest slides
This plane is now registered as EI-GEP and is owned by Blue Panorama Airlines.
Then i flew on it! I flew on EI-GEP from Rome to Cagliari
wt's the two bits beside the escape slide?
it's like a octupus assembling
@TheDieselmonkey11 and the nose of both aircraft is kind of different and the 777 is huge.
What's with those side things on the slide?
Since it can be a raft too it can be used during ditching for safety
0:06 Theres are little wheel on the tail, I didnt know that!! xD
Yup. It’s tail strike prevention.
It’s not a wheel

@@rajasaladin_ that’s not a wheel..... it’s a tail strike prevention from when the plane lands and takes off.
@@Sam.m6 ohh thx
boeing 767 can tell by wheels
wow
Impressive
@ .34 if you look over the wings you see the window exits 777s dont have window exits,
777-300 actually does.
@@LucaAviation a 777-300 and 777-200 only have door exits! There are no window exits on any 777 planes ✈️.
