ah not really? peyton cheated with lucas on brooke knowing for the first time the infamous party girl was in truly love and she did it twice sure brooke did something similar, she hooked up with lucas knowing payton had some sort of an attraction towards lucas. But peyton and lucas was not in a relationship. I actually dont think best friends do that towards each other if they really are best friends. I actually think brooke and haley was the best friend goals, they had eaxh others back since season 3

All these friendships was messed up as hell but for some crazy reason they all work jmo.
Ok first of all brooke slept with nathan while he was broke up with peyton, it might not have been a permanent one but it was a break up nevertheless, and its is much more than peyton ever did for brooke and second of all if you had watched the series on the first season brooke gives peyton a chance to figure her feeling for lucas out, and when peyton backed out only brooke said lucas was fair game and went for him, she never did anything under handed she always acted straight forward always unlike peyton who only wanted lucas whenever he was with some one else. second of all gradually warming up to haley was part of brookes character building, brooke went from the typical high schoold stuck up cheer leading leader to the brooke we all love. again which is lot more than what peyton offered for the series, she started as the depressed highschooler and ended it as the depressed adult with a child I guess. and though peyton was the one who first befriended haley, haley asked brooke to be the god mother of her first child that says a lot about their friendship. not all great friendship starts in good foot and not all friendships that start in good foot end to become great for example brooke and peytons:)

I think Haley and brook are best friend goals...they were from completely different social circles yet still found a way to be there for eachother...and once Peyton had the baby that was kinda the last we saw of her she wasn't there for Brooke when she went through alot alot of bad stuff not even at her wedding or when she had her own bbys that said I did love Peyton and Brooke in the first seasons the fact Brooke eventually forgave Peyton and Lucas betrayal just shows how much they cared for eachother x
