I love these three, the evolution of how both Meredith and Cristina couldn't stand Lexie, then grew to love her was amazing. Why do the relationships between everyone feel sooooo fake and empty now? Even previously established relationships are so hollow these days.
I agree. Grey's Anatomy lured me in because I admired all the fun/quirky relationships and friendships on the show. I would watch Grey's and just wish I could have what they all had. Now all the relationships between cast members feel so contrived and plastic.

Derek never invited them to his new house or when he got married did he have them to come meet his daughter after they adopted her did he take Meredith to meet his family this so called big family he said he loves. He wanted Meredith to have sisters you sit say uow great he was no he wasn't he treated Meredith badly many times has his sisters yelling at her she never met them nut one time she soon meets Amia after baby Bailey was born. Derek wasn't this great guy the least he could have done is brought his Mom out to meet her grandbabiez
Meredith has come along way. At the beginning she had no concept of “FAMILY.” To at the end of her run in the show, she was all about family. She saw and embraced the value of both blood and chosen family. Which at the hospital, “CHOSEN FAMILY” meant more than their real, blood family.

I miss Lexie and Cristina. When Lexie died I cried my eyes out. Since Cristina left the show, I felt like GA lost something very meaningful to me. The twisted sisters are my ideal friendship. And Cristina was so funny except for the 10th season. Love the show.

Christina saying he’ll dig ditches isn’t really a “dig” at him. He may not make what a surgeon makes but he’ll love very very comfortably without the stress of having to cut people open.

I love the earlier season casts, but imo this trio as a TRIO was never as close as the Sister Lady Chiefs got. Altho separately as pairs (Mer/Christina and Mer/Lexie) they were stronger than any of the Trifecta duos. And I don’t think Mer could’ve been so close with Amelia and Maggie had she not already had Lexie and Christina.
I laughed when dr. Mcdreamy asked another doctor to go change a routine dressing…like any doctor would change a routine dressing unless they were actually involved in the care lol
I have to say that Derek was the better half of the Meredith/Derek relationship. He had so much compassion that it made up for Meredith's lack of compassion at times.
Not that I disagree, but the reason why Derek had more compassion around Lexi than Meredith did at first is because he and Meredith had different upbringings - Derek had both his parents, 4 sisters and Mark and ironically, Derek wasn’t always welcoming and hospitable to them when they appeared in the show from time to time but he was over time with Mark and Amelia; Meredith on the other hand grew up with a mother who didn’t show her love, drove away her father, Thatcher who remarried and had two other daughters, Molly and Lexi who he loved dearly but didn’t fight for Meredith or come back for her. Meredith’s familial bonds and life from early on was rocky because she’d never had the same lives as Derek, his sisters and Lexi, but Meredith deep down wanted to have a life and family like that but she wasn’t able to open herself up to it out of fear of being hurt and with how she had stood by and cared for her mother in spite of her not being a good mother to her. Of course, Derek, and his sisters and their mother all suffered through the murder of their father. For one thing, if it hadn’t been for the growth of her sister relationship and bond with Lexi, Meredith never would have accepted and let her other sister, Maggie in when she met and found out about her.
When Cristina first met Lexi she was jealous because she thought Lexi would take her place that’s the real reason why she was real pissed at her in the beginning when she said you don’t even like Lexi Meredith was pissed because you whole time u don’t have to like your sibling to love them

Because there's so many sub plot and agenda in the latest season it made it so hard to put depth to the characters
