Brooke's face when Luke tells her of Peyton's life threatening condition just seeps of fear, angst and heartbreak. Her eyes can't stop flickering as she tries to fight back the tears, but the thought of her best friend dying as well as her unborn child and her being unable to do anything to prevent it is just too much for Brooke to take in and accept. This truly was a beautiful scene between Brooke and Peyton. One of sorrow and fear but at the same time hope and love, which was always the epitome of their relationship from the very beginning. Hilarie and Sophia really are a true credit and talent cause they as always conveyed their emotions with their characters beautifully.
Lucas is Lucky that Brooke isn't A bitter ex and even stayed friends with him instead of being awkward and mean even tho he deserves it cuz He broke her heart both time they dated.

That's because Hilary quite and never wanted to come back because of the HORRIBLE way certain people treated the actors and crew...So I just pretend that Peyton is there for all the big stuff and that the others came visit her and Luc all the time😂

I love Peyton and Brooke's friendship despite all the drama they are always gonna be around for each other and love how Haley became so close with them as well and that they remain great friends . I always thought Lucas and Peyton belonged together although I liked Jake Haley and Nathan together Brooke and Julian together Mouth and Millicent and loved how when Dan died they brought Keith back😊

Yes there were some major issues along the way but the fact that they got over it relatively quickly isn't really because it was just a plot device, which the fighting was, it was because it had always been a strong friendship so when both of them saw the chance to forgive and move on they were eager to take it because of all the good times they'd had and once they did their friendship was stronger than ever.
Lucas's mom had eclampsia during pregnancy. Its severe high blood pressure with seizures. She didn't respond to meds, the treat it is a csection which is what they did. Even then heart stopped 2-3x but she ended up lucky and alive.

She is the sole reason for all of Brooke's suffering and is only acting supportive out of guilt. Only Julian and Haley could see the real Brooke for who she is. Only Julian and Haley made Brooke truly happy. So yes, Peyton never deserved Brooke and never deserved to be at her wedding either (which again Brooke invited her but she canceled ugh). Anyways it's just a movie but I sure wouldn't want a Peyton in my life

I am rewatching it now and I realized how much I hated Brooke the first couple of episodes of season 1 because I felt she broke girl code. Brooke is awesome though and the truth is Lucas was never going to be fully available to Brooke emotionally like he was to P. Sawyer. And Brooke def deserved better. I love Brooke and Nathan because their characters grew the most.

Brooke's suffering is because of herself not Peyton. She likes to put herself in such situations. She was lucky to have people who pull her out of those troubles! Also, it was Lucas who was a Major jack*ss that caused P and B their friendship. He took advantage of both Peyton's and Brooke's feelings for him.

The director had a problem with the actress who played Peyton, so he slowly ruined her character because of it.
