Good to see military using their skills I was 63 C motor pool we serviced every and anything that burned gas. How do I go about purchasing a generac service and repair manual ? (Information is power )
Thank you for your service 🫡. To get my hands on one of these I had to sign up for one of their HSB generator training classes. Information is power, this manual is a great tool to have specially if you work on these generators often like I do.
@@WSmith2024 they where the same video clips, the generator was already repaired I didn’t have video recording of the “bad” stepper motor with no movement. I mentioned that the first time I tried to start the generator the stepper motor did not moved at all, but showed a clip of what a good stepper motor should act. The generator in the video only had an unplugged steeper motor connector.
@@tacticalpowerpro HEY FOR SOME REASON MY BATTERY wont charge i have 120 V from T1 to the evolution 2 @ at generator where do i ck output battery charge
@@alvinbihms9629 Hey, you can check the battery charger output or status at the controller but you will need the "dealer" access code. --> ESC, UP, UP, ESC, DOWN, UP, ESCAPE, UP, ENTER.
Why do you have to also replace the mixer assembly when only the stepper motor is bad? Many people bought only stepper motors from Amazon and said that fixed the problem.
Generac only sells the entire mixer assembly. They do not sell the stepper motor by itself. But if you can find the stepper motor through Amazon then more power to you, just replace the stepper motor which is really the issue.
@@djterrorist4819 Did you replaced the entire mixer assembly or just the stepper motor? if you just replaced the stepper motor then make sure the stepper motor linkage and throttle plates in the mixer assembly do not bind in any way. Also did you test the resistance value at the connector of the new stepper motor?

A very useful and succinct explanation.
@@pamelabateman9211 thank you! glad my video was useful.
On the test it looked like the movements were exactly the same as after replacement. What am I missing? Thanks for the video.

What piece are you referring to? The mixer assembly or the stepper motor?
