As a toon fan I am sorry to see a good Club like Sheffield United relegated a decent club with the same values as Newcastle honest hard working unlike Scouse Mackems (Everton) who with deducted points for breaking rules with FFP get to stay in the Premier League. The PL and FA need to get to grips with VARcicle been too many wrong decisions made. Hope to see you Blades in the PL 25/26 season all the best for next season.

@@samkirkland9228Thanks Sam. I’d just add that I was proud of our fans who were left in the stadium at the point your players walked off the pitch who all applauded them off.
Never nice being the side that a club is relegated against and I didn’t hear any gloating or unpleasantness, which I was pleased about. Best of luck for next season.

The fans knew we were doomed from Day One. Today is not a surprise. You can't expect to compete in the Premier League when you fail to bring in 'proven' Premier League quality players and lose your most creative goalscorer before a ball is kicked. I know it was Iliman's decision to leave after signing a new contract, but losing him had a numbing effect on the squad. A huge rebuild is needed. No sentimentality. Get rid of half the squad and build around the youngsters. UTB ⚔️

Thanks for recognising that it was not a one-sided game, despite the scoreline 👏. That has been the case in a lot of the games this season. Huge questions need to be asked of the medical & conditioning team. Players are dead on their feet after 50 minutes, and we've had a ridiculous number of long-term injuries this season.

The majority of our second-half collapes are due to fitness and having a weak squad. Newcastle can bring on Barnes & Wilson (sounds like a bookstore 😂) that have an immediate impact. Our substitutes are kids, players with no Premier League experience, or those on their last legs due to age and/or previous injuries. 90% of the substitutes brought on by Prem clubs this season would 100% be first team starters for the Blades! That says it all 😞

It's not the worst thing in the world to have one or two seasons in the 2nd tier, after the summer rebuild. The correct signings are imperative, and Chris needs to be backed by the Board, and the fans ❤❤. I still believe in Wilder to sort our club out. Football's about balance, timing and patience and I think Chris totally deserves to retain his tenure with the Blades, and I will be supporting him and our boys ✌️🙂💜🩵❤️

I have to be honest ... I was all for bringing in a new manager for next season ... but having listened to Chris Wilder in this post match interview after yet another thrashing I now think that he is the man for the job of clearing out the players that have no pride in wearing the crossed swords of the Blades and to rebuild and bring back joyous times again for Sheffield United and the magnificent supporters. You can clearly see that Chris is angered and upset just like the rest of the Blades fans, He speaks with honesty and from the heart ... Chris Wilder is the man to get things rolling again and get the club and fans back to where they belong ... The Premier League. This season has been sickening and brought nothing but embarrassment for the club and the fans ... finish it off and get back to winning ways again in the Championship.

Some of the replacements or lack of was disgusting by the prince(a disgusting liar) who stated that he was not like other owners, he paid for transfers in full...stated on sheffutdway. LIAR!! Hecky was too negative but he was hung out to dry by having to work with an awful budget and aging team. The owners of course want promotion since Sheffield will overall receive about £70 million with parachute payments.
