True, honestly it's a shame that this was the game he did it in. When the opposite team are so poor people aren't gonna properly appreciate the hard work Newcastle put in. You can go out play like Messi and score like Haaland but if your doing it against U-12s no-ones gonna care. this newcasle lineup is already iconic. with bruno in the middle dominating the most important area of the pitch, creative creation and technicall freekicks from trippier, reliable midfield and attacking player in joelinton, solid defense with schar, botman, nick pope. I think isak could get even better even tho he is already in great form. Callum could stay at the club as the designated 9 replacement
The team played very well in this match. Passing Scher across the entire half of the field to the penalty area when they scored the second goal is incredibly cool.
I'm still torn as to whether Joelinton's first touch for his goal or WIllock's assist for Isak's are the best moments of quality in this game. Both of them utterly world class.
Three to four months on and this is still one of my favourite games accept for the four all draw we had with arsenal when cheick tiote ( god rest his soul ) scored the last minute screamer 👏🙏
Man City beat this by putting 5 past Watford in 19 minutes last year. But Watford were second bottom of the table and Man City top. For Newcastle to do it against a team ranked 5th is really the true record.
What a season Sean Longstaff is having. If he could just add some goals to his play, he'd be up there with the best in the league and would surely get an already deserved international call-up.

this newcasle lineup is already iconic. with bruno in the middle dominating the most important area of the pitch, creative creation and technicall freekicks from trippier, reliable midfield and attacking player in joelinton, solid defense with schar, botman, nick pope. I think isak could get even better even tho he is already in great form. Callum could stay at the club as the designated 9 replacement

Man City beat this by putting 5 past Watford in 19 minutes last year. But Watford were second bottom of the table and Man City top. For Newcastle to do it against a team ranked 5th is really the true record.

Even though im a Liverpool supporter its great seeing Newcastle doing so well.Eddie howe and his team have done a great job yes the money has helped but its buying the right players. You can tell theres a good team ethic team spirit and of course brilliant fans.
Good luck for next season in the champions league and hopefully if Liverpool gets some new players in the Premiership should be quite exciting with Newcastle City arsenal and of course Liverpool (hopefully)
