Just watched the new video while cruising up to Edmonton! Man I can't believe that you and Chris from TIP are still in the Stone Age times and using hand riveters!! Talk about dangerous to paint like you have mentioned. You certainly need to invest in an air riveter for pulling rivets and nut Certs mechanically. There is maybe 1/5 of a kick back on the air unit in comparison to a hand riveter. The amount of strength required to pull a rivet by hand is a direct reflection the amount of kickback you get from that rivet when it pops, which makes them dangerous. Also, as well as the clamping force with the air unit is roughly 3 times stronger than what you are able to pull by hand. I got this info from Arctic cat when it came to doing warranty work for replacing bent tunnels. They have come down drastically and Price in the last couple years. A good one is less than a couple bills now.

@@KASLCustoms useless little titbit of information here. In the aviation world, upon inspection, which is quite often , any of rivets on any sheet metal of anything that goes in the air will fail every single time. If the exterior panels on a Cessna were not popped with an air riveter, they claim that enough air gets underneath the joining seams that that thing will delaminate all the panels faster than they were applied. That would be pretty scary to have happen at elevation.
