    Perhaps it's not that people follow these reports, but rather that these reports are made as public justification for their actions. Propaganda is nominally illegal. However, if media takes a turn due to "profitability," it's expected.

    You know what heroic character doesn't get a lot of attention? The Nic Cage cop that gave 1/2 his lottery winnings to the waitress, though nothing was holding him to that but his own honor. It cost him his marriage to his hot wife. Hero does the right thing at all costs.

      I’ve been asking myself that question for the last month as well. With AI we can now crunch numbers much faster, and without a lot of work. So I think a good start would be to project the actual figures (instead of the ones we’re loosely given now), and work from there to calculate the viability of the industry on its own sales (as apart from being kept alive by a larger company, like Disney.)

    Nice work RJ. Saw the latest Mad Max (not max) movie. I was wondering your thoughts on it. I thought all the stunts were good, and noticed they softened up Furiosa in this movie to make her more feminine rather than the usual "tough girl with no vulnerability" routine. (Mary Sue characters like Rey Skywalker in the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy for example) But unfortunately nobody went to see it. This may impact whether we get any future Mad Max movies since people avoided it. Everyone is hyper vigilant and won't see something unless its 100% confirmed not to be a woke agenda flick. This mean good movies with strong female lead automatically trigger people to think of Mary Sue character that hates all the men and her action scenes are going to be over-the-top and unrealistic. (like the old XXX movies with Vin Diesal)
    Interestingly The Critical Drinker was blamed by the woke mob for the movie flopping because the mainstream media thought he hated it but he actually thought it was a good movie (the only criticism is the fact it took too long to make this and the gap between this and Fury Road would impact people's willingness to care since they would have forgot about Fury Road by now). His review was the reason I went to see it. I think that's funny.

    "...the nation's population inches closer to a majority-minority status."
    The sheer stupidity of this line really jumped out at me. 'We're going to have a majority of minorities!' they say. Yet by definition they can't.

    • @HonduranHoneymoonhon
      @HonduranHoneymoonhon หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Minorities means non European. So the line makes perfect sense. Sure, the word 'Minority' initially referred to the fact that they were not the majority of the population in America, but that's why the term was used in the beginning. It doesn't mean they have to keep changing the name of what the group is called. For Example, Comic Books, they're about Superheroes and other things, sometimes they're about comedy, but not normally. Another name they had was Funny Pages. Comics is an inaccurate name for them, in terms of the word origins, but it's how they got the name. Another example, Villains, means bad evil guy, it originally referred to a person working in a villa like working the land for a baron or lord. Podcast, who has iPods anymore. And many more.

    • @HonduranHoneymoonhon
      @HonduranHoneymoonhon หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tomspiegel5322 I guess they could use other words, but the primary other words to use would just be listing 'Blacks, Asians, Latinos, Jews, Indians, Arabs etc' everytime they want to to talk about non europeans as a group/demographic. They could also go with 'nonwhites' but then the Italians and Greeks etc come up as some people mean white to be european, others to mean Northern European, or the dreaded 'Middle Easterners, North Africans, and Latinos are white too'. I mean they've tried words other than Minority, BIPOC, but everyone either made fun of it, or was confused about it not being bisexual blacks, or both.
      I think the last 10 years has been the only time they have been honest about being antiwhite, the decades to century before that they were being subversive and shadowy, lying through their teeth about their intentions.

    So how does everyone feel about Your boy Zach declaring the culture war "unwinnable"...?
    Why did anyone ever listen to that screwball again?
    You know, I was reluctant to agree with Sargon's diagnosis that Liberalism inevitably leads to the semi-socialism we've been living in for decades (and it still has a few glaring weaknesses that concern me), but it is increasingly the only answer to so many people's deluded behavior.
    I can't remember the source but there's an axiom that goes something like: "Any institution not actively Conservative will gradually become more and more left wing."
    Since, in the West, everyone's baseline is "Liberal," ESPECIALLY the self-declared "Apolitical," I think we can modify that statement in this way: "Anyone who claims to be Apolitical, will gradually become more and more Liberal, until they finally become a Leftist."
    Perhaps crude, in need of refinement, but still an accurate statement.
    Remember: It doesn't matter if YOU don't think of the situation as "Us versus Them," the Left tolerate nothing outside their Collective. On every level, anything that contradicts their Collective Must Be Erased. They shall suffer no gods to come before their "Liberalism."
    So they will cheer as you are replaced, even the one's you thought were your friends.
    Be careful out there.

      Maybe someone else said something similar, but the thing you've said sounds a lot like Dr. Ted K's Industrial Society and its Future.
      "To avoid this, a movement that exalts nature and opposes technology must take
      a resolutely anti-leftist stance and must avoid all collaboration with leftists."
      "Leftism is totalitarian force. Wherever leftism is in a position of power it
      tends to invade every private corner and force every thought into a leftist mold."

    • @bathyalgames
      @bathyalgames หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on how you define "unwinnable". We will lose all franchises that they have already taken over and we will lose even more, like a good part of anime and manga. But there are people who will still stand against it and what they produce will endure, since like in the evolution in the natural world, it will be all sorted out.
      In the end the things that will remain, will be the new foundation for the new generation of creative processes and products.
      Conservatives and religious people have more children than liberals, and this children are less likely to change their position towards liberalism, than the other way around. Therefore the liberals want to go after the children of these people. And yes weak people are lead astray in flocks and are only awaken one by one. But you cannot tell the not truth to all people all the time. You know the saying: As the truth just stood up, the not truth was already running circles around the world. And as it is: the mils of truth turn slowly, but they grind constantly.
      Yoa boy Zack is a bit black pilled since he didn't had the necessary success with his comics, but he will come around if he has some more success. I watched his videos sporadically and had my major fallout with him as he has embraced and liked Jim Zub's Conan, but that does not influence my statement about him.

      Not so. Some of us "apoliticals" are former republicans/conservatives jaded with the system, seeing that both sides want the same thing. One is just taking the slow road.
      We're still conservative, but don't identify with any party. For myself, I see the real issues being bigger than any party line, more of a matter of good and evil.

    I can prove that report wrong easily. Millennials and Zoomers have been reporting watching more reruns of shows from the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's. The fact that MASH has become so heavily watched of late, and Friends has returned to top watched lists again... tells you all you really need to know.
