well, i think, there's nothing to say to make him feel better. In only a few years he lost 3 people, who were very important to him. Hannah, the love of his life. Jeff, the best friend, he ever had. Justin, the brother, he never had before.

Clay lost Jeff, Hannah and Justin he’s gone through so much he found Jeff when he died he lost the only girl he truly loved and he had to suffer through dissociation and now he lost the only person he called his “Brother” that’s what made me cry during this scene

I know the excruciating pain she felt all too well. After the love of your life dies, everything feels pointless and you feel hopeless.
I think what would have been harder hitting that a funeral speech from Jess would be either Jess was Pregnant, Or she had contracted HIV off of Justin.

This shown shows many important real life tragedies without sugar coating them and I think that's so important. Suicide, rape, drug addiction, mental health, homelessness, growing up without parents, death, psychosis, abuse, grief, redemption and love.
This scene in general was amazing especially because of Zach. When he was on that stand talking about how we are all weak he realized that the way he was this season was not okay. He realized that alcohol doesn’t take the pain and that you shouldn’t try to take it away because it reminds us all. To do better.

I’ve watched a ton of TVs shows, movies, played games, that had some very sad events occur in them, and I’ve never shed a tear or rlly even been close but I have felt the grief from it. This scene and when they are each speaking to him before he died in the hospital fucked me up bad.

But Justin was the most deserving of a happy ending. And they are teenagers. There's already 4 people who didn't get a happy ending, whether deservedly (Bryce and Monty) or undeservedly (Hannah and Jeff).
And if we are to be real Everyone would've been in jail cause 1 committed murder and the rest covered it up, worse is majority of the characters don't feels as connecting as Justin and maybe Tyler (cause this is the same dude who almost committed a school shooting and Clay was stupid enough to decide to step in front of a shooter, well turned out ok for them I guess)

I wish I can let my feelings down here! I was really in pain one year back when season 4 dropped and now again I feel the pain! I can't help but think about a few depressing questions. He had no one except his mom who never chose him and let him get fucked up by men. I remember the scene where she asked if he need lunch at 10 pm LOL. So, he never got good nourishment in his house and if he was alive, it was due to Bryce. And then the friends get jealous of him and destroy his two beautiful relationships (Jess & Hannah). He was the one who got in the web of events and was always a bystander (except showing the explicit picture of Hannah to Bryce). I can understand his loyalty to Bryce as he is indebted to him. But what for Alex and Zach (so-called good guys stayed with him?) Alex started hanging with him again and ended up killing him. Even after everything, at least Justin was good enough to shed some tears for his death. Zach held Justin back when he tried to stop Bryce from sharing Hannah pictures and also a person who knew nothing about consent (not better than a rapist though)! Alex is a good guy but he can get away from murder because of his father's connections. I love Clay and his intentions about saving from friends. But I couldn't just sit through him being entitled, judgement, and non-empathetic every time. I respect that he gave a home for Justin but went on to treat him like shit when he went ahead of him and recovered. I know he loved him and sibling rivalries are common but he failed to be happy for a homeless kid who saved his life, testified against his best friend and went to jail without expecting anything. Single children do get jealous of new siblings but do Justin even deserve that jealousy hate from Clay? What made me so depressed is how realistic this is! They all treated him like trash but started caring when he is literally on his death bed. Why bruh? He would have been if he had asked for treatment before letting his pneumonia get into sepsis state. Whatever I feel like a real brother of mine died whenever I see him and couldn't forgive people for bringing him to this stage. Sorry for my rant:(

What made me so depressed is how realistic this is! They all treated him like trash but started caring when he is literally on his death bed. Why bruh?
He would have been if he had asked for treatment before letting his pneumonia get into sepsis state. Whatever I feel like a real brother of mine died whenever I see him and couldn't forgive people for bringing him to this stage.
