- The 2019 Husqvarna FX 450 has an ultra-smooth power delivery and a chassis that handles well, but the suspension holds it back at high speeds and in rough terrain.
The 2019 Husqvarna FX 450 ranked 3rd in our 450 Off-Road Shootout comparison

should i get a husky 450, ktm 450, or ktm 350? (all xc-f) i am 15 and currently ride a 300 xc-w and want a 4 stroke instead
Hi Daniel, between those three bikes, at your age, we would recommend the KTM 350 XC-F. Thank you for reaching out, and keep riding and having fun. 👍
@@dirtridermagazine yeah that's what I'm leaning towards, however i would like a dirt bike big enough to convert to a street bike, my brother had a 350 and it was too small for the road, so he bought an fz07 do you think the 350 is big enough for 60+mph roads?
@@danielwilson5502 - If you want to have a street-legal dirt bike, the KTM 350 EXC-F dual sport model is capable of 60 mph speeds on the road. However, if you are going to be spending a fair amount of time on the street, especially at high speeds, you might want to look into the KTM 500 EXC-F as it has more overall power and torque. We did a comparison test between these two bikes a couple years ago in Moab. Here's the link if you would like to check it out:

@@dirtridermagazine Can it be used for motocross racing if I change the rear wheel to a bigger one (19 ")? :)
@@jocid2280 - Yes, definitely! It can be used for motocross racing even if you leave the 18-inch rear wheel on.
Is this bike road ready (highway) in terms of power and speed?
