2020 Husqvarna FX450 First Ride, can it handle single track?

My fist ride on the FX450. The bike far exceeded my expectations. I never thought a 450 could operate so smooth, the mapping on this bike is spot on. The air forks feels better than any Yamaha SSS forks I’ve been on. The Magura clutch and brakes are a big step above the Japanese bikes. I felt comfortable on this bike after about 30 seconds. #fx450 #husqvarna

I’ve got an fx 350 . Forget the suspension settings in the book . Lower air pressure to 130 psi , slow rebound to 10 clicks front and rear and run soft compression! Settings in the book have rebound to fast for slower trails like in your video

Good review. I'm getting back into riding after a 20 year absence. Was looking at the te 300 or the fe 450. I used to be an A enduro rider back in the day. I think the 450 will be a better all around. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to throw it around in the tight single track but it looks like your not having a problem in the tight. I'm a big muscley guy so I think it's a non issue. Once again, very good review. Thanks!

I’m torn between the fc & fx
I have an fe450 for trails but I need a mx bike that will be also 50% a trail bike too
Tough my fe does everything I need except it doesn’t love the big hill climbs… dam tough

The FX is a good 50/50 bike, but if your doing more motocross I would go with the FC and lighten up the air pressure when trail riding.
