I love how you're always so polite when you don't like something. In every single taste test video I've seen, when the person doesn't like the food or candy, they go mad and are like "ew that's gross" for 10 minutes straight. lol.
my 4 year old and i watch you every time you post a new video and he loves how you say itadakimasu. we say it along with you haha it's so fun, he said it at thanksgiving before we ate as well.
The edible paper covering the baby snack bars looks like rice paper (self explanatory). When I was little, most UK sweet shops used to sell sheets of rice paper (I think they were half a penny each) but I haven't seen any on sale for quite a long time now. As I recall, they weren't anything special, just something vaguely sweet that melted on your tongue as soon as you bit into them (like Communion wafers, for you Catholics out there) and we bought them just for the novelty value of paper that you could eat. When we were preparing for our First Holy Comunion in primary school, our class teacher would practice with torn up strips of rice paper so we would have some idea what it would be like when we were given Communion wafers for the first time.
+Presca From BC I hate Lindt and Milka, tastes too artificial and has unhealthy ingredients (Vanillin which is highly carcinogen, Sojalecithin which is contaminated with pesticides).. Gepa and Alnatura chocolates on the other hand are very good and have good ingredients..
We have the exact same wrapped sausages in Korea as well! I think it definitely takes some getting used to because it honestly looks like fingers wrapped in plastic at first. So cool to see the similarities in snacks around the world. Keep these videos up Emmy!
Hi Emmy, I hope you've had an amazing Christmas with your family and a happy new year! Just wanted to say how much I love your videos, I've been watching since pretty much the start and I will never forget the first video I watched of yours which was the sorbet/ice cream one! Keep it up, I love it :)
I cannot say enough about your channel! I just love your personality, and your descriptions so much ❤. My daughter and I look forward to each episode. I can always close my eyes and remember what things used to taste like!
It's really funny to see how an American eats German food and I'm always excited about your reactions :3 And yes, babyfood is really popular over here. Sometimes I'm taking those fruit bars to school because they are so yummy :D Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland, Emmy!
Haha yes babyfood over here rocks. I always take some jars to music festivals with me because it tastes decent and does not have to be refridgerated :)
us babyfood is NOT that good haha but i do love those little dried yogurt puffs (i don't know how to explain but they melt in your mouth and they taste so good)
The paper thats on the baby fruit bars is in dutch literally called "eatpaper". It's also a candy apart from being wrapped around those bars. It's fun for kids because they have the idea of really eating paper. xoxo
2:15 Right Lindt&Sprüngli are actually a Swizz Company. But for tax reasons it got an own German Administration for the EU market. I am not shure if even the recepies are changed to a more German taste. All FERRERO products are somewhat wrong flagged since the Company has it´s haedquarter in ITALY. But their products are on the German market since the ´60th so most people don´t think anymore where it comes from
I AM ALWAYS SO IMPRESSED BY YOUR MEMORY , you remember what type of food that you have eaten in what video or even the name of that particular food , how do you do that 0.0!? i love uuuuu anw
Kinder Country: The spoon is on the other Side on the Botin under the paper ;) My english is very bad but i Hope You understand me ^^ I Love your Videos! :) Lots of Love from Germany :)
Lindt is technically not German but I especially like Lindt Lindor, the regular red kind. If I weren't on a diet (or should be, after Christmas), I'd get a bar right now and take this video as inspiration LOL
Oooooh Amy the spoon for the Kinder Country was at the downside of the package. :D Well more of a scoop then a spoon actually .. And the Ferdi Fuchs Miniwürstchen are also things the children eat here. My mom always used to pack my sister and me one in our lunchbox for school, always hated them so my sister always end up eating two. :D
I got that same Schogetten chocolate bar at Aldi in Warwick, RI! Apparently it was flavor of the year, according to the bar I bought. They sell some German foods at that store, which is really neat, and the prices there are great. I tried a dark chocolate covered baumkuchen for the first time recently from there, it was really good. Most of the time when I get chocolate, I buy it from Aldi. They have organic and gluten-free stuff too. It's really a great, cheap market for the basics.
In Italy, parents feed their kids pastina, which is basically buttered pasta but the pasta is teeny tiny (smaller than rice) so it doesn't need to be chewed. I still used to eat It deep into my teens until my grandma found out and made fun of me!
I actually really enjoy my baby's food. I especially enjoy sweet potato and butternut squash. The little puree baby food pouches are just awesome. But maybe I'm just weird? I'm American, by the way.
The nougat that's shown here is actually made out of hazelnuts, not chocolate. :) In Germany the hazelnut nougat is much more common than the white kind. And I have to confess, I absolutely love babyfood here, but only the fruit ones. The pureed vegetables and meat are not my definition of tasty food :D
Filipa Torres Acho que já está em todos os supermercados "maiores", pelo menos eu também já vi à venda no Pingo Doce e no Continente. :3 E sim são awesome!
In Germany it's super cool to have 'Esspapier' which is that paper on these Fruitbars. When I was in Primary school,I've eaten them very often. There are some different flavours. Try it,it's super fun.:) Maja.
This is really random but if you like the taste of banana but not the texture, try freezing them and eating it! It's like a popsicle but it has the same flavor
Been watching all those “Emmy eats Germany” videos up to this one, and I’m wondering...what kind of Germans pack those packages?! No Toffifee, No Hanuta, no Ferrero Küsschen, no Baumkuchen... how come no one thought of those?! 🙈 Oh and Emmy, Nougat (like the Lindt ones), isn’t chocolate, it’s...nougat. Nougat is made partial of chocolate, but also out of Hazelnuts, which gives it the rich, melting texture and the nutty smell and taste. Kind of like marzipan from almonds, just firm hazelnuts, but different then White Nougat, which is the fluffy stuff that you referred to. Love how excited and passionate you are about everything you do/tase. ☺️
Hi Emmy I think you should try snacks that are local to Detroit Michigan one day. Like Faygo pop and better made chips. And try all the flavors of both along with vernors
When I saw those bars I was thinking of "obleas" here in México we eat them with some honey and toasted pumpkin seeds, or just plain they're really delicious 💞
In Germany when my daughter was born you can sign up with companies for free to get samples of baby food for the life stages. I started getting them when she turned 3 months. Got tea an baby food as i was supposed to start intrducing to them
in Finland many adults also eat baby foods, and use them for baking cakes and such. It is really good actually and they are nice fillings for roll cakes :D
Hey Emmy!:) i love your videos and i love to watch other people trying German foods and treats🙈 I can get it everyday, though. I'm 19 years old and also love baby food ( especially the fruit bars and like fruit salads - is that weird ?!:D) P.S. The Spoon from the Kinder Country egg has to be on the backside of the packaging.

Yeah swiss chocolate one of the best
+Presca From BC It's Swiss though isn't it?
+Mr Music it is
Yes, but Lindt is most expensive brand in Germany ...

I bought my cousin some when he was a baby and we'd watch him!! I'd give him one and then take one for myself so yummy. Also the fruit flavored puffs.

2:15 Right Lindt&Sprüngli are actually a Swizz Company. But for tax reasons it got an own German Administration for the EU market. Omg I remember buying baby snacks for school lunch it’s really good 😭 students still buy it .
The sheet of paper is actually what we call in French Feuille d'azyme which is made if a thin sheet of rice paste that's been cooked and dried.
Oooooh Amy the spoon for the Kinder Country was at the downside of the package. :D
Well more of a scoop then a spoon actually ..
And the Ferdi Fuchs Miniwürstchen are also things the children eat here. My mom always used to pack my sister and me one in our lunchbox for school, always hated them so my sister always end up eating two. :D
Pappercat The Kinder Country is actually and original from Italy 🇮🇹 my friend 🙂😎✌️
I got that same Schogetten chocolate bar at Aldi in Warwick, RI! Apparently it was flavor of the year, according to the bar I bought. I Love this videos because I find new things every time xD
The babyfood in Germany is really good and many teenagers eat that too if they had an operation on their theeth or something like that! :)
I live in Germany and you eat more german sweets than I even know 😂😂❤
+Katys Light :D!
those lindt nougat chocolates are my most favorite sweets 😛😛
Emmy, you should eat the vampires at one piece. That gives you the real special blend of flavors
I live in Mississippi and I've had Schogetten. My aunt sent it to me. It was amazing.
my daughter loves your channel!
In Italy, parents feed their kids pastina, which is basically buttered pasta but the pasta is teeny tiny (smaller than rice) so it doesn't need to be chewed. I still used to eat It deep into my teens until my grandma found out and made fun of me!
I always enjoy your videos. I wanted to try those treats so bad :D Happy new year Emmy ♥, in case you dont post a video before dec 31 :P
Hi, The first thing that springs to mind for the bars is Rice Paper? I remember getting sweets made with it on the bottom
As a German watching you eat our food is beautiful
I actually really enjoy my baby's food. I especially enjoy sweet potato and butternut squash. The little puree baby food pouches are just awesome. But maybe I'm just weird? I'm American, by the way.
I have so much envy for this vid lol. Esp that 36 piece nougat/chocolate set from Lindt .... I love chocolate!
Emmy if you go to amazon and type in Ferrero Yogurts there's all kinds of different flavors
Katie Groves The Ferrero is actually and original from Italy 🇮🇹 my friend 🙂😎✌️
The nougat that's shown here is actually made out of hazelnuts, not chocolate. :)
In Germany the hazelnut nougat is much more common than the white kind.
And I have to confess, I absolutely love babyfood here, but only the fruit ones. The pureed vegetables and meat are not my definition of tasty food :D

Anything in this video looks way more delicious than bugs that you've tried in the last few videos haha -Rachel.
I think you need to start an online fan store, first item, a t-shirt with the phrase "How stinkin cute is that?" on it.
Geez I want to try all those candies!!! They look delicious ñami
