So you got married when you were 5? Congratulations! That is absolutely amazing! 28 years is a lifetime, I wish you 100 more years of happiness together!
Boy oh boy am I glad those sweets are at your house instead of mine. Its so fun to watch Joerg enjoy his sweets. They do look delicious. Happy Anniversary!!
So fun to watch Joerg sampling all the treats and both your comments! I got a big chuckle to see him crush the chocolate marshmallow between the buns and enjoy it so much! I’ve had the Mozart Marzipan .. so delicious! Thank you for a totally enjoyable time! My husband and I loved it!!
Thanks so much Marcia! Wish you could taste a German snowball as it doesn't taste like a marshmallow inside, it's a lot softer (it's funny we actually don't like marshmallows lol).
My cousin sends me the Mozart Kugels for Christmas. They have three types of marzipan inside-the regular almond, the pistachio and the hazelnut. I love them. such a treat. I eat them slowly to make it last-three bites instead of two. Lol. I like saving the foil wrappers to make Christmas garland with.
Aren’t these two adorable!?!? Growing up we always had exchange students, the majority of them were German, in 1984 I went back home with one of our exchange students and stayed for about 2 months. My very very favorite thing was Milka chocolate. OH-MY-WORD..but it was the best chocolate I had ever had! I also loved Haribo Gummy Bears and Toblerone. You can now get Haribo Gummy Bears any where now (even at the Dollar Store!) and Toblerone is readily available as well. I found Milka Chocolate on Amazon and I get them every year for our Christmas stockings. Thank you for sharing your treats with us ❤️ Happy Be-lates Anniversary 🥰
Thanks so much! Oh yes, I used to love Milka chocolate so so much, sadly can't have it anymore as it contains wheat protein which I'm highly allergic to but it's so good.
Was a nice surprise to see you tonight. Congratulations on your anniversary, you look so young still.I enjoyed seeing all the different treats.Thank you for sharing.
Happy Anniversary to such a “sweet” couple. Thank you for brining back memories from my childhood. I live in Canada now but we do have a large German community and lucky enough to have many delicatessens. Thank you.
Oh, happy anniversary to you both and never ever loose your german Gemütlichkeit in these sometimes troubled times. I love all of these sweets, since i know them almost all of my life. Best wishes und viele Grüße aus dem Harz.
Kirsten," take the sweets to the office" Joerg, "I'm not taking the sweets to the office". Kirsten, "If you leave them here I'll blow up". Joerg, " I'll eat them", as he smiles from ear to ear. That was so funny. You two make me laugh. Love you both. Happy Anniversary. Very lovely couple.
OMG my mouth is watering.....I love all of those snacks, they are my favorites as well ! You can get the real Haribo gummi bears in the usa...some chocolate shops even cover them in chocolate ! At Christmas Aldi sells the German marzipan but you have to get it right away ... they sell out quick. Happy Anniversary. Prost !!!
I couldn’t believe it, when Joerg squished that “Super Dickman’s” treat between two halves of an oat bun! He looked extremely happy to eat it😄. 🥳A very Happy 28th Anniversary to you, Kirsten and Joerg!🥳💖💖 Enjoy your treats!
Happy Belated Anniversary, I just discovered your channel and I'm catching up on your older videos. My husband and I just love watching and listening to you two. If you ever come to the USA, you will like Pennsylvania, in Pennsylvania we make and eat more pretzels in the USA than any other state. We call the Pretzel Sticks too. All of the snacks you bought would be enjoyed in our household. Thank you for sharing, everything looks so good to eat. PS: my husband and I are from German ancestors, probably why we enjoy listening so much to you.
Treats from your homeland is so nice to have. Here in the States,I miss so many British things. lol I look forward to finding some of these German things and trying them some day! Oh and Happy Anniversary! My husband and I have been married almost as long!
Kirsten and Joerg have either of you been to the states? I would love to send you a box of our treats/snacks we have here in the US. Would you both agree? And if so would you do a video on them? “Happy Anniversary” ......and I sure enjoyed the video. Love from - Michigan
Happiest of Anniversaries, wishing you both many, many more....Love watching your videos.... Really liked your gift wrapping paper DYI I think I might give it a try.....I think you are very crafty and I love your decorations in your home, lovely.....I melted in your video of the dish shop you videoed in your home town......Germany has the most beautiful Christmas designs....
The snowballs are sort of like s’mores here in the US made with graham crackers, hershey chocolate bars & toasted marshmallows. First learned about them in the 1950’s when I was in the girl scouts. So good. We have Haribo gummies here. The flippies look like our cheese puffs. Am definitely a snack foods lover. So interesting to see yours and how similar they are to ours.
Happy anniversary! I spent a lot of my childhood living in Germany ( on and off between 1976 & 1990), so major nostalgic vibes going on here 😍. I remember all of them except the Motzart kugeln. Super dickmann's were a childhood staple, I always missed those when we came back to the UK. Lidl did sell a different brand of them, but when our store got a refit they disappeared 😭. Lidl also do sometimes sell the erdnuss flips, which I buy for hubby as I detest peanut flavoured things. Schogetten is also something I miss and Lidl did used to sell them, but they disappeared too 😭. Lastly Paprika crisps, I really miss German Paprika crisps!
Happy anniversary. It's always interesting to see other people's tastes, likes and dislikes. It must have been very nice being able to stock up on all your favourite treats. Xxx
The Mozart marzipan candies come here to the U.S. at Christmas time as well as German Christmas stollen. We order a ton of to "supposedly" last us a long time but strangely it just disappears into thin air a week after Christmas is over. 🤷♀️
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! May you experience JOY & LOVE each day of your Life! The bond you share is Inspiring ~ All those treats from Germany look rich and yummy! I'm a fan of marzipan, too! Kirsten you need to get ready for Joerg's "sugar rush" after ingesting all that sugar :) ...Happy Celebration!
Happy Anniversary!! So nice of you to share some of your day with us. I visited Vienna many years ago and brought MOZARTKUGELN back with me for my family. My former sister-in-law is German and she used to eat some very spicy, dark biscuits. I don't remember the name. I was looking forward to this video and it was fun to see all of your treats from Germany. Looking forward to your next video!
Happy Anniversary to you both! The Germans certainly seem to love marzipan but it’s not so popular in the UK. I mainly associate a thin layer of it on Christmas cake. Germans obviously like hazelnut filling too. Joerg has a lot of food to polish off in front of the tv! X
Happy anniversary!! Great video. We are very fortunate to live in a city in Canada with a chain of German grocery stores so now I'll keep my eye out for some the goodies you showed. I’ve recently tried the snowballs. I was expecting marshmallow but it’s a marshmallow cream..they didn’t last long..so good! Until the next video, I hope you enjoyed your special day.take care🇨🇦 ❤️
Kirsten, my ears can't work out if you are English with great German or German with an incredible English accent - unglaublich! I used to live in Germany and now I so miss the snacks and the huge range of herbal teas in supermarkets :D Oh and the mini toiletries from DM/Rossman! Not to mention being able to get so many different beers from spaetis. After this video I have reverse Heimweh) You seem like such a friendly and creative couple. LG aus Neuseeland!
Happy Anniversary Kirsten and Joerg ! May you have many more. I loved those treats. I love chocolate too. Living in the USA we have Krispy treats which are rice krispy cereal and melted marshmallow combined but you can dip them in chocolate. It was really fun to learn what you grew up with in Germany. I grew up with oreo cookies. As a child I use to dip them in milk, also toll house chocolate chip cookies. I had them growing up. So much fun seeing and drooling over those yummy looking treats. Thanks for bringing them back from Germany to show us.
The Prinzen Rolle looks similar to the Bahlsen Hit cookies which I really enjoy and are available in the United States. Happy Anniversary! Thank you so much for sharing this. Danke
Congratulations! 28 years is wonderful! My husband and I celebrated our 28 years this past January. Your vlogs are fabulous! I share them with my husband and talk to him about them at night after a long day. I really enjoyed your sharing these treats. I found some places in the USA that sell the beer. Once my husband and I can go on our weekend trips again, I am planning one to a place in Pennsylvania to try the beer. I can’t wait to tell him about this video! Thanks for sharing.
congratulations , I would of never guessed because you two act like your on a honey moon , your love and respect for each other is amazing , I can really see you like and care for each other for all the twenty eight years . Just wonderfull . Thankyou for sharing . In Utah , the states .

Joerg you enjoyed every single moment of making that video.... your face lit up and as you munched on each goodie your had the biggest smile !! I laughed!! I am going to order the Flippies on Amazon and see what happens. Marzipan is my most favorite sweet in the world and when you mentioned that they make hot chocolate... well, I am going to have to find some of that also. What a wonderful huge bag of treats. Thank you for sharing with all of us. Your beautiful husband is a joy !
Happy wedding anniversary and congratulations ! I'm living in Switzerland and I know and appreciate all the products you showed. It is always a pleasure to see you both. Thanks for all the nice videos.
I saw a link for your cottage video and loved it! During this pandemic I have been very nervous and worried. When I watch one of your new videos they make me smile and immediately I feel more peaceful. Thank you
Happy Anniversary!!! You twi seem like young lovers, the way you look at each other. Welcome back from your trip. The videos you shared from Germany were amazing!! We have aldis here, and i live buying German products to try.
Happy Anniversary Kirsten & Joerg, I enjoyed watching the different snacks, some of them are similar to the ones we have here in America, I love sweet so as you as I saw you to snacking I grab a brownie and a glass of milk, lol. Hope you are enjoying your Anniversary, take care you two.
A Happy Wedding Anniversary to you both. The biscuits are delicious and we have the marzipan logs at Christmas, the best brand we agree. Thankyou for sharing, Keep cosy!
Happy, happy anniversary! You are a beautiful couple. Love to see parts of your lives. I'm not German, but lived there for six years. You almost made me homesick. Stay safe and my prayer is for your next 28 years. Love.
Just wanted to tell you my Erdnuss Flippies arrived yesterday !! You are SO right they are really good. I do not drink beer so I just munched on them. Hubby agrees if we ever see them again we will definitely purchase ! LOL Thank you so much for the tip !
That was just great. I know all of these delights. Now I also know how to spoil you when you come for a cup of tea (or glass of beer). I've also bought the mini Dickmanns for my sons birthday parties & painted icing sugar faces, or numbers on them. Lovely memories.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! I’ve had a heavy work schedule and unable to watch much lately. I honestly have missed your uplifting cheerful attitudes. Also I was wanting to know if you will be having your Christmas gift ideas again this year. I absolutely love your ideas. I know it’s just September but I’m always excited about Christmas things. Again happy anniversary to the most wonderful couple.
I make a lemony cheesecake. I crush Graham crackers mixed with butter for the crust. Then bake then add the cake and bake it After its baked and cooled I add sour cream to the top. On top of that we usually add a cherry pie filling or fresh strawberries. It's very good.
I guess you two have a bit of a "sweet tooth", yes?.... thanks for sharing your German sweets with us... So nice to see you celebrate your Anniversary...
Had to open my bag of Haribo bears while watching... We had that beer in the Black Forest last year. My son in law grew up nearby. Also same brand of Radler. I got excited when Joerg showed it!! So refreshing after a hike, at some small rest area there. And the lady had just taken a cherry cake out of the oven. So yummy! Have to try some of these snacks when we can get over there again from the States. I loved marzipan as a child. Thanks for the lovely video.
Happy anniversary! The both of you are soooo lovely together! Wish you a lot of years together. And I laughed a lot as you did the "Matschbrötchen". Thank you for showing us.
Happy Anniversary! I have sent my friend Birgit your latest TH-cam video so she can watch it. Once again, you made a great video. Thank you from Canada 🇨🇦
Dear Jörg and Kirsten, Happy Anniversary!!! 🙏🏻🌻🌺💮💗💮🌺🌻🙏🏻 The treats from Germany looked quite good, with the exception of marzipan! Like your mother, Jörg, I do not like it at all. I love raw almonds but nothing else almond flavored or scented. I don't like Halvah either. Oh well! Chocolate or fresh fruit is good! I've never seen your beer but wondered if it was from Wölfach or Oberwölfach in the Black Forest? I like dark, old beers (dunkles, altes). Have you ever tried the British beer, "Old Peculiar?" I love it! I read about it in a Martha Grimes mystery. One of her protagonists, Melrose Plant, drinks it. He's a British Lord who has given up his title because he doesn't like classism. He drives a Silver Ghost Rolls. My sort of gentleman! Anyway, Bon Anniversaire, Kirsten and Jörg. Stay well, safe and healthy! 🙏🏻💗🙏🏻
Thanks so much Karin! The Rothaus Brewery is in the Hochschwarzwald in Grafenhausen. Joerg has never tried Old Peculiar, we have to look out for it, thanks for the tip.
Hallo from Russia, as usually in Supermarkets we have Haribo and Ritetsport, chocolate bananas, some tipe of marzipans. When I was at Germany I didn’t try biggest part of sweets, but I really love Halloren Kugeln and sweet rise with topping.
Wow, all of that looks so good! But I do have a question are there any restrictions such as certain type of foods or amounts or liquors or beers that you can not bring to the UK? 🥰
Happy happy anniversary! "She already has my heart!" None of those treats are as sweet as the two of you! Many more happy years together! 💝
Thanks so much!
I agree
Such a nice comment, love it 😁
You two are as sweet as the German sweets presented. Wishing you happy anniversary, good health and never ending love to each other 💘
Thank you so much Daria!
Happy Anniversary!❤🎉 thank you for including us in part of your day! How special! I always look forward to your videos. They are always delightful filled with lovely things, beautiful scenery and your warmth and charm. We need uplifting videos like this more than ever.

Aww you are so sweet! Thank you so much.

Thanks so much Joanne!
Boy oh boy am I glad those sweets are at your house instead of mine. Its so fun to watch Joerg enjoy his sweets. They do look delicious. Happy Anniversary!!
Hahah yes, Joerg has to get them out of our house too and hide them. Thanks so much Kelly!
Wish you two Happy wedding Anniversary, and 100 more years of happiness together!
That's so kind, thank YOU!
Congratulations on 28 years !
"Yup" large glass of milk and a box of small snowballs.........yum
Love you guys
Thanks so much!
So happy to be able to share your wedding anniversary with you! What a delightful episode.
Thanks so much JoAnn. It was actually on September 5th when we filmed the video but still.
joerg thinks he is in heaven he is like a child in a candy shop haha
Yes!
How I'd love to be in that sweet shop! And German Chocolate is SO good.

We somehow have Haribo's Gummie Bears here in the U.S. in selected stores.
They are my favorite and never realized they were German!
Jane Gendreau
The U.S. headquarters is in Chicago.
I don't think they're German. I think they're Swedish and they are very popular in the States.
Haribo is actually German.
Kirsten & Joerg We have them in Florida!
Such a fun way to celebrate you anniversary....tasting candy and snacks with us. You two are adorable.
Thanks so much!
Very “sweet” video. Happy anniversary to a delightful couple! ❤️
Thank you so much Nancy!
Wishing you both a very happy wedding anniversary, lots of love and big hugs from Wigan 😊💖💖
Thanks so much!
Aren’t these two adorable!?!?

Was a nice surprise to see you tonight. Congratulations on your anniversary, you look so young still.I enjoyed seeing all the different treats.Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much Karin!
Absolutely love your snack-tasting videos (in additional to literally everything else you post). Looking forward to more in the future!
Thank you so much Beth!
Happy Anniversary to such a “sweet” couple. Thank you for brining back memories from my childhood. I live in Canada now but we do have a large German community and lucky enough to have many delicatessens. Thank you.
Thanks so much Brigitte!
Oh, happy anniversary to you both and never ever loose your german Gemütlichkeit in these sometimes troubled times.
I love all of these sweets, since i know them almost all of my life.
Best wishes und viele Grüße aus dem Harz.
Vielen Dank liebe Winnie!
Hahah, thanks so much!
We get Ritter Sport here in the US. The marzipan variety is my absolute favorite.
Yes, we can get Ritter Sport here as well, it's so good!
Kirsten & Joerg Is the Ritter Sport sold in Germany the same as in England, or has it been adapted to English tastes?
I love most Ritter Sport chocolates, sooo good
Anne,
Ritter Sport Marzipan may be good, but you MUST try Niederegger Marzipan, if you are a marzipan maniac... Enjoy!
Prost !!!

Happy Anniversary! You are perfect together! Many more years of love and fun!
Thanks so much Lynne!
Lovely people bringing smiles on our faces, i adore you ❤️❤️
I couldn’t believe it, when Joerg squished that “Super Dickman’s” treat between two halves of an oat bun! He looked extremely happy to eat it😄. 🥳A very Happy 28th Anniversary to you, Kirsten and Joerg!🥳💖💖 Enjoy your treats!
Thanks so much!
I’m Meera, from New Delhi India. In these trying times, your videos are so heart warming and your joy is contagious. Happy Anniversary!
Thanks so much Meera!
Smashing the snowball in the roll reminds me of “Somemores”. A square of chocolate and a toasted marshmallow between two graham crackers.
Yes, it's definitely similar to Smores.
Happy Belated Anniversary, I just discovered your channel and I'm catching up on your older videos. My husband and I just love watching and listening to you two. Yes, we have been to the US many many times. Awww that's so kind of you but you don't have to send us a parcel, it's fine, really.

Yes, it's very similar!!! The flippies look like cheese puffs but don't taste like them, they taste of peanuts, really good.
In the US 🇺🇸 they’re called pretzel rods! Pretzels 🥨 were brought to the US by German ancestors.
Happy anniversary! I spent a lot of my childhood living in Germany ( on and off between 1976 & 1990), so major nostalgic vibes going on here 😍. I remember all of them except the Motzart kugeln. Lidl used to sell Paprika chips too, they were amazing. Bring back the German essence Lidl.
@@mssoliloquy3001 Yes, we brought some too from Germany. Polish stores here in the UK sell them which is great.
You two are the most precious couple! Thank you so much for sharing your lives with us.
Happy anniversary. It's always interesting to see other people's tastes, likes and dislikes. It must have been very nice being able to stock up on all your favourite treats. Xxx

How lovely to bring back from home such yummy treats, and belated happy anniversary wishes to my very favourite TH-cam couple.

Haribo macht Kinder froh - und Erwachsene ebenso.... Live now since 25years in the States, but still remember this ad.
this was fun to watch ... whenever I travel the first thing I do is go to the grocery store & see what unusual snacks they have
Thanks so much Holly! Yes, that's such a fun thing to do in another county.

We have Aldi here in the US and I regularly buy Haribo gummie bears there. They are the best. Germany definitely has the best beer.
Happy Anniversary to you both! The Germans certainly seem to love marzipan but it’s not so popular in the UK. I mainly associate a thin layer of it on Christmas cake. Germans obviously like hazelnut filling too. Joerg has a lot of food to polish off in front of the tv! X

A Happy Wedding Anniversary to you both. The biscuits are delicious and we have the marzipan logs at Christmas, the best brand we agree. Thankyou for sharing, Keep cosy!
Thanks so much Jan! Yes, Niederegger is so good and the shop in Lübeck is wonderful as well.
Happy, happy anniversary! You are a beautiful couple. Love to see parts of your lives. I'm not German, but lived there for six years. You almost made me homesick. Stay safe and my prayer is for your next 28 years. Love.
Thanks so much Sherrie! Happy to hear you enjoyed your time in Germany.

My nursery teachers in the early 80’s used to give us one gummy bear at end of the day... such a sweet memory! You two are adorable! X
That's such a lovely memory indeed! Thank you!!
Just wanted to tell you my Erdnuss Flippies arrived yesterday !! You are SO right they are really good. I do not drink beer so I just munched on them. Hubby agrees if we ever see them again we will definitely purchase ! LOL Thank you so much for the tip !

Hello to both of you, love every bit of your video it's a feast to my eyes, waiting for the next video without patience
Thank you!
I am a big snacker, meaning I prefer snacks over meals, so this episode was so fun/interesting.
Hey, jaaaaa, der Dickmann auf einem Brötchen war das Highlight in der Kindheit 😋😋😋😋 LG 🙋🏼♀️
Oh ja, so genial gut!
@@KirstenJoerg Es hiess früher " Klatschbrötchen"😄
Thank you so much! Yes, we do plan Christmas gift guides too this year.
I make a lemony cheesecake. I crush Graham crackers mixed with butter for the crust. Then bake then add the cake and bake it
After its baked and cooled I add sour cream to the top. On top of that we usually add a cherry pie filling or fresh strawberries. It's very good.
It sounds very yummy!
Even though I know everything you showed because I am german, I really enjoyed your video 😄
Dankeschön!
Thank you for sharing your Anniversary with all of us. Those German treats look wonderful! Now I’m hungry.
I guess you two have a bit of a "sweet tooth", yes?.... thanks for sharing your German sweets with us... So nice to see you celebrate your Anniversary...
Hahahah we do indeed so we made use of the car boot:) Thanks so much!
This was so much fun! I love the labels on the beer bottles. Thank you both
Thanks so much! Oh yes, the labels are lovely.
We have the pretzel sticks here in Texas. They’re just not as long
Had to open my bag of Haribo bears while watching...
Marzipan is yummy! Yes!
Thanks so m much Anne!
Happy Anniversary! What a grand way to celebrate with all the sweet goodies from Germany!
Thanks so much!
Dear Jörg and Kirsten,
Happy Anniversary!!!
🙏🏻🌻🌺💮💗💮🌺🌻🙏🏻
The treats from Germany looked quite good, with the exception of marzipan!
💗💗💗
Congratulations on your 28th wedding anniversary. Such a sweet couple.
Thank you for showing us all your goodies. Lovely xx
Thanks so much Sandra, that means a lot!
The puffs look like cheetos. So different.❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰. I adore marzipan. Hard to find where I live.
Happy anniversary dear friends🎉
Thank you!
Thank you. There are but we didn't exceed the amount so we are all good.
Love you two! Happy anniversary - herzlichen glückwunsch
