I was told that Billy Beane was a "Philadelphia guy" who studied with Dennis Sandole as did Pat Martino. You can hear the attack of the strings; the lines and the tone of Billy Bean most likely had an influenced Pat Martino. This was told to me by another student of Dennis Sandole's. A great guitar player that is not known by enough people.
