Due to a bad car wreck 20 years ago my ability to walk has been getting worse....now, with doctors no longer prescribing pain medication I'm wheelchair bound. I miss the outdoors. I used to take trips with my son and husband and just explore America. But, those days are gone now. I love watching your channel just to imagine the fresh air and the feel you get in the woods. It's home to me. Keep filming man....I'm enjoying every step you take. LOL.

Steve was right when he told you to share...as of now, you're site isn't as "busy" as his and the shares you pass on help us right now. But, don't be surprised if your site blows up like his did. Good presentation today and I absolutely love the intros and altros to your videos !!! The scenery is breathtaking and it allows those of us who no longer have our mobility to hike, climb, or explore a chance to live vicariously through your adventures. Keep up the good work and thank you eversomuch for these pearls of beauty !!!

Thank you so very much for the kind words , yet another wonderful person at Outlaw Country . I’m glad you enjoy the hikes and the time I spend in the mountains as much as I do . That IS what this channel is about . I will always share whatever emails are sent to me if the sender wishes for that to be done . All I truly want is for people to know what is out in the wilderness , use their own judgment to decide if they wish to explore and then go do what they love . Do NOT let ANYONE dictate what you should do and where you should and should not go . This is your life to live , so I hope everyone lives it to its fullest. Anyone unable to physically get out and enjoy the wilderness , ALWAYS has a spot next to me on my adventures. Thanks again my friend , bless you and be safe.

You dont need to go all the way to the Yukon to get great sasquatch stories. I was on ride around Nordeg in Alberta and my horse refused to drink or cross a shallow creek. The guide with me laughed and said "none of the horses will drink from the creek or cross into that stretch of timber because there is a family of squatch living in there"! He was dead serious and told me a few crazy encounter stories.

I'm from the area, growing up my family would camp in the Abraham Lake area all the time. 2009, when I was 14 years old - My Dad had taken me and my brother on the Helicopter Tours that are just west of David Thompson Resort. They took us up Cline River, and we flew over Coral Lake where the Golden Trout spawn. When we were flying up Cline River, ~10-15km into the bush. We were about ~500 feet in the air and my Dad had pointed out four "people", two which were standing in the middle of the river, and the other two much smaller ones were standing on the shore. Our pilot pulled us up to ~1000 ft, I looked out the window and could the two standing in the River. My Dad watched one of the smaller ones that was standing on the shore, Sprint into the trees while looking up at us. My Dads sense of humor has him saying that it was Sasquatches. Our Pilot, who also saw them replies "Well people wouldn't hike that far into the Backcountry with children, and what are the chances that was 4 bear all standing on their back legs?". My Dad managed to get a picture of what we saw that Day, he took it when we were ~1000 feet in the air.
He still fly's the overnight drop-offs with his work friends every year to fish on the mountain top lakes. I'm sure he does it because he wants another look.

@SlipknotGuy009 that’s exactly the area I was horseback riding through. We were riding up on the bluffs above the Cline when we came across that creek that the horses wouldn’t cross. Probably about 15 or 20km from the David Thompson Resort. My family are from Sylvan, Eckville area.

I spend weeks camping in remote Alaska and I've seen two Sasquatch people. I don't know how to put it into words, but when I saw the 1st one, I just stood there looking at it and knowing it was human. A human that had brown hair all over it, that was very well groomed, 6.5 feet tall, built like a professional basketball player, but had shorter legs.
I had drawn my weapon, but holstered it when I realized it wasn't a brown bear. Then it ran off at a terrifying speed and I mean ridiculously fast.
I never saw its face and hope to not see one again.
Thank you for relaying the encounter to us, and take care. I believe the guys encounter.

A few years ago I woke up in the ICU ward at the VA hospital in LA. Standing beside my bed was a priest, he asked me if I believe in God. Well father, I like to see something with my own eyes before I jump all in on a important subject such as that. I then said, I have seen a Sasquatch two times so I know they are real. I have not seen God or know of anybody who has. To believe in something is to take a person or persons word on a subject they believe to be true. To know something is to see for yourself the subject in question. I don't know if God is a real thing or not but I know for a fact that there are Sasquatch running around.

I am fine right where I am at. Dead or near dead and brought back does not really count as seeing God. Right after you see God and someone ask's you how many fingers they have up and you can not reply because you are unconscious due to being dead or near dead or reply 23 fingers, were is captain Kangaroo. Sound mind and body, means just that. So being you were just dead or close to death you might not be thinking to clearly, who knows.. The Palestinians believe in God, so does the Israelis. Does not seem to be helping them to much.I would like for there to be a God, but I just don't see it. I would trade my two bigfoot sightings for one God sighting, straight up.

The trapper's encounters with Bigfoot are compelling and thought-provoking. His detailed descriptions, combined with his extensive experience in the wilderness, make his accounts some of the most credible in Bigfoot lore. Whether one believes in the existence of Bigfoot or not, these stories remind us of the wonders and mysteries that nature holds. The Yukon's rugged beauty and untamed wilderness continue to inspire and intrigue those who venture into its depths, keeping the legend of Bigfoot alive for future generations to ponder.

I've followed Steve for a long time and found him after I had my encounter and started doing mad researching and videos. I had mine in 2017 up by Mt. St Helen's during November in late Buck. I was down a giant ravine I had checked out on google maps. Literally no one goes back there ever. It's just steep, dark, rough and giant old growth timber that goes for as far as the eye can see. No man's land and that's my kinda hunting. No roads, no garbage, no sounds except wildlife and the occasional plane over head. I Have never been so damn scared in my life and was so truly astonished to have had it. I always wondered but never truly believed until that day. I don't care what anyone says, when you have an encounter and see one, you know what you've seen. Nothing even comes close or compares to them. I think about it probably every few days but for sure every single week since and it was 7-8 years ago. Since that day, I pack a pistol on my side. Doubt it would really do much good but makes me feel a little safer. They truly are big. He was like Andre the giant but probably 600 lbs and built like a steroid body builder. He could literally pick a full size elk up and carry it no problem. Have never been back down that draw, last year my brother and so we're going to drop down I. There after debating for years and on the way there, we got in a small wreck. Not sure if it was to save my ass or what. I just don't want to be scared out of the mountains by one cause it's my second home and literally my favorite place to be on the planet except for hanging with my Boys at home. My vacations are spent each year back in no man's land hunting big black tail. Nothing like being in the middle of no where in the most beautiful country you could ask for. Stay safe everyone

Hello Darren im glad Steve introduced you loads of us HTH Subs and loyal fans..I have watched Steve for a few years now and I must say as an Aussie im more than impressed with Steve and his no nosense honest to God truths and frustrations. Whilst doing that you were not only mentioned but also spoken in high terms he also stands by you and everything you say, like a true friend would. You have shared loads of info about your interactions with the forest people good and not so good. The clips of that dark large shape in the bushes and it also fazed in and out of focus. That was so clear to understand and your veiwer that was able to spot that was very sharp eyed. Pps looking foward to catching up with you on your journey my good friend just a believer from the city of Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 who is intrigued by truths and knowledge.

Actually, the first needs fires once in a while. It burns off the underbrush and helps some seeds to germinate. It's when we prevent those fires from happening on a normal cycle that we get first killing bismuth fires.

I liked your video & am just now reading a book that a neighbor gave me (several yrs. ago!) titled "A Walk in the Woods" by Bill Bryson. It is a tale of his hiking the Appalachian Trail - and all the adventures along the way - and Bryson REALLY makes you laugh! Also, at the same time he is a true naturalist who loves nature & the actual art of hiking in woods (kind of like hunting), because you become part of the woods as you are a hunter trying to blend in. Well, hiking is more about seeking nature & wildlife as you "become one" blending in with the environment, though not hunting you re definitely SEEKING the beauty, the wildness, the real & true nature of ourselves! It is a beautiful experience! I LOVE the woods - and Bigfoot? I do like these creatures because they are not violent, very intelligent, interested in humans but not usually threatening unless threatened. I don't quite know how they came to be - but believe that God did create ALL things, so I am not worried. I do feel they are not a threat (but only a possible aid) to mankind. But one thing - we need to lave them alone - they do not like aggressiveness of ANY kind.

I just recently fell off my step ladder when pruning a big cedar hedge and banged up my left knee pretty bad. It'll take 3 months to mend and even then, there are no promises that it'll be back to "normal". I used to do stuff like you're doing, alone! Couldn't help think what would have happened if I had a fall! I would have been a gonner! Don't do things alone. Whether a sprained ankle, banged up knee, concussion or a cougar attack, you could become a statistic and part of " Missing 411" with Dave Paulides!

Actually down here in the states, following a person back to their residence is not so uncommon in a Bigfoot experience. Why they do so, I do not know. These ones also tend to peak into windows at night and slap the house or tap on a window or two.

For 52 years I’ve been watching the progress, or lack of it, of the Bigfoot search.
Back in the day, there were previews on TV about the latest movies coming out. The Legend of Boggy Creek was a must see for me. Like all young boys I was intrigued and wondered if such a creature could exist.
The early documentaries with Peter Graves or Leonard Nimoy of In Search Of fame and others were very compelling.
After 50 years of continuous learning about our environment, logic, common sense and human nature, it became easy to put Bigfoot in the category of MYTH!
I still like to be intrigued and entertain that little boy that still lives in me but as an adult I count on wisdom to discern fact from fiction!

i grew up in washington state in the country/woods outside of tumwater and the capital forest...there is for sure something out there..have seen them many times and a few good scares as well.when i was in my 20's i was a mushroom picker and had my own area that i went to on the carbon glacier side of mount rainier the wilkinson carbonado area generaly..and encountered them quite a few times..found areas where they would bed down and eat the mushrooms and leave the stemy bits in piles.but the main thing i learned about them is if you smell them they are close and they will warn you to get lost..anytime when i was out picking and got even a hint of there smell, i would call it a day or go to another area.even had one follow me dam near all the way back to my truck.but when i first saw it, it was just chilling just up the ridge from where i was and i heard it but did not smell it.i just kind of calmly finished the spot i was in and slowly started to make my way out.think it was intrigued buy me picking the mushrooms and probably had been watching me for a while, but sure enough it followed me out...there scatt is unique from the other animals but there smell is what realy stood out to me.very deep musky smell you will never forget.heard talk that some educated people think they are a unidentified primate species and i think that is a rock solid theory if you ask me..something is for sure out there and i genuinly hope they can stay hidden from us..we would only destroy them or put them in a zoo....

I couldn't figure out who you reminded me of... Steve Carrol! From The Office and Dan in Real Life. Your eyes and expression sometimes 😊. Enjoying your channel. Just found you recently. I am a believer too!

That’s great! And, I concur!! Holy baby Jesus!!!!! You’d think people would be smart enough to at a minimum think it’s plausible. So much so unseen & unknown. 🎉😊

I’m not saying that they don’t exist, but I won’t be completely convinced until a body is produced.

That’s ok my friend. Some people just need that added assurance that something is real that they’ve been taught their entire lives “ DOESNT EXIST “ You come to your own conclusions and don’t let anyone influence you . Stay safe my friend

The berries you came across are Oregon grape or holly-leaved barberry. Used by some aboriginal peoples of the Pacific Northwest for medicinal purposes - according to the internet. Keep on hiking!

So, being a geography nut, I think several hundred kilometers north and east of mayo is actually in the NWT.
I'd love to know exactly where he was.

I believe it would be more than 200 kms to the NWT border .

Enjoyed hearing that encounter sent in by the trapper. He must have had nerves of steel to chase that being into the woods! I have heard bears clacking their teeth on wildlife videos (thank goodness not in person) so that would be very creepy, then have it circling the cabin. I hope he sends in more of his experiences. That hill you were on was really steep! Doesn’t look like too much room there for error! Thanks for these great videos!
