In a nutshell, it is a better camera now than at the time it was launched. It is still highly competitive with better autofocus and continuous autofocus than the majority of current new cameras available. Obviously the A7IV is ‘better’ but this is still excellent.
I didn’t know that, as I never had it at launch, but good to know! I’m having a lot of fun with it though!
and for the price range compared to cameras nowadays!

just got my sony a7 iii today, upgrading from my canon RF, that was not capable to record in 4k without croppping it... I´m exiciting to test all this camera has to offer!

I was aiming for a7iii, but when I saw a very good offer on nikon z6, I purchased that. But I miss the af and lens advantage of Sony. But nikon color is very good.
I love this camera so much, I want to buy a spare just to have as a backup. I want to shoot on this camera system for as long as possible as it has given me everything I have ever wanted from a digital camera. I was a combat photographer in the army and I wish I had this camera throughout my entire career. My job had me taking video and photos, and this one camera can do it all!

Good choice. For the price it`s still the best camera. Especially for photos. I am shooting with the A7 III since 2018. The A7 IV may have some advantages, but I don`t like the flip screen and the 33 Mp are making unnecessarily big file sizes.
It really is! I love mine. I agree with you there, the file sizes are pretty big with the A7IV and I think the A7III still holds up really well against it!

Im looking to buy a new cam to follow up my Sony A7 which was my starter cam in 2020. Im contemplating between the Fujifilm XS10 and the A7 III.
That’s a tough one, guess it depends how much you have invested into your sony system and whether it’s worth the cost to switch over. The Fuji has some great features and specs though, but I love my A7III and as that’s the only camera I’ve actually tried out of the two, that’s all I can speak to personally! New cameras are always exciting though, so congrats!

Which is best for personal own use? Alpha 7 III OR IV . IV is 500 pounds expensive. What are the major and minor things that i going to miss if i choose III and want to save 500..... Waiting for ur reply
If you have the extra money and want the best between the two, go with the A7IV. The top differences I can think of off the top of my head are that the A7III has a 24mp sensor and the IV has a 33mp sensor, so higher resolution photos and more cropping flexibility. The IV can shoot 10-bit video, whereas the III can only shoot 8-bit. This is a massive difference when it comes to colour grading footage. The IV can shoot 4K up to 60fps but the III can only shoot 4K up to 30fps. The IV also has a fully articulating rear LCD panel but the III only has tilt adjustable. Hope this helps!!

Oh mang, you are missing so much key points about the a7iii. Have you really use the a7iii to its full advantage? Like everything about it to make it worth it for another 10 years to come?

@@NateJamesPhotos I'll talk more about the points of the a7iii on my video. You mostly talked about all the basics we hear year after year. I have use and is still using my a7iii for capturing photographs and videos. The basics you talked about are great. But you have to remind people why it was the "Camera of the Year" for 2018. What made it so special that it forced Canon and Nikon to invest heavily into Mirrorless? Why Canon and Nikon users started switching over to Sony? How well it can teach new photographers about Manual mode. And why it was the mirrorless camera that put the final nail in the coffin for DSLR? It has a lot of great features that a lot of media people did not cover on so it makes me think that they have not fully utilize the a7iii to its potential.

Being a fashion photographer.
I am very disappointed with its colour science .
Sometimes Even after fixing white balance , i am not able to achieve the actual colour .
I regret buying a7iii.
