    You sort them in 4 categories so it takes you 4 loads to do your clothes?

    • @iamdarryl

      Yes, I sort my clothes in 4 - workout clothes, white/light clothes, cotton dark/colored clothes, and linen/sheets stuff. And bonus one - dry clean/ hand wash but those are like rare at least with my closet

    yea but how much clothes to put in the machine? such a simple question that i cannot find an answer for. one site told me it should be 3.7 cubic feet, but i think my machine can handle 4.54 cubic feet. how do i measure my clothes in cubic feet there are so many edges.

    • @iamdarryl

      I think you are overthinking this. Each washing machine would have different capacity. My suggestion is to load as much as you can BUT never ever over load! If your machine can handle 4.54 cubic feet, then go for it (actually just go lower than that). For example, my washing machine has a line where the MAX limit. I dont go over that line at all. I simply put as much, and go under the line. Hope this helps!

      @@iamdarryl idk i just got one of those standard top loaders with the agitator. do i go to the top of the agitator? top of the bucket? someone else said dont go past the top row of holes. but i can pack alot of clothes in below the agitator then i wonder if their not loose enough. and i still dont know whats considered a large load when it comes to the soap pods

    • @iamdarryl

      @@gristamshackleford2102 I got the same one. I would not pass over the top of agitator. As for soap pods, in my opinion a LARGE load is when it's fill up my washing machine.

    • @iamdarryl

      It's a habit of me. Everytime Im about to buy someting, I always look at the tag. The seperating dark and white is fine. Just make sure to look at the tags for the clothes that you care the most.

      @@iamdarryl but then i would end up with more than 2 piles of clothes wouldn’t I and that would mean more washing?

    • @iamdarryl

      @@luistomas3521 Not technically. I mean, the reason of separating them is prevent the "bleeding" of some dye color. For example, there's some shirts that will give you a warning about "due to nature of dyeing process, color transfer may occur". If you mix the colored and white with that label, there's a high chance that will ruin your white clothes.

    Sheets and towels what water setting you use

    • @iamdarryl

      I'm going to be technical about this. If there's no significant dirt, then cold water. If you think the sheets or towel looking really dirty, then go with hot water. Cold water will prolong the fabric. However, circumstances like having heavy dirt or stain, hot water will help remove those. Hope this helps!
