So it really varies with the city or state. For example, LA and NY are notorious for people who loves being in fashion. However, as you mentioned, average American guy would just throw anything and go on with their day. That's me for the most part. But sometimes, in order to stand out, folks need to put some efforts to look good.

@iamdarryl I would say my favorite pair are my Crazy Horses and my vegan 1461’s. Yes they are but one of my boots squeaks and that drives me nuts. The insoles in the vegan dr martens just are not the same. I wear power step insoles in the vegan ones because they’re hard as rocks lol 😆

Hmm, great question because I think it depends with the orientation of your feet. For example, my right foot do have the problem with the tongue, but my left is totally fine. I think you just have to wear them a couple times to break them.
