@@Tricia.4869-Patreatzya Sorry, I haven't really run into that problem myself. But I do use some wool balls and put a few drops of essential oil on them to make the clothes smell nice out of the dryer. Check out this video if you want to see how I do it: th-cam.com/video/MxAmp9HuTIw/w-d-xo.html
That's a very useful video! I have a method I use for socks and underwear: wash them in a mesh bag. Since doing this, I have hardly had any orphaned socks, whereas before they always found a way to go missing! Subscribed :)
I'm glad the video was helpful! I'd stay on the safe side and air dry the garments that can't handle the heat if possible. You could try to experiment and put one of the different types of delicate/shrink-prone garments in the dryer and see how they turn out, but you'll still risk damaging those garments during your testing
Do you separate white delicates/regular/heavy-duty from dark delicates/regular/heavy-duty? So 6 piles? And all 6 piles go in separately for 30m each? And do synthetics need a delicates bag?
I generally do delicates and regular with both whites and colors. You really only need heavy duty for really dirty things like workwear. Sometimes you can get away with putting a few regulars in with the delicates if they are not too dirty, I’d not go the other way with putting delicates in with the regular cycle though. The delicates bag is really up to you if you want to use. I generally save it for the most delicate things like wool and things with embroidery etc
So I’d say up to 4 cycles is most common. If you only have one or two whites you could consider adding it in with the colored clothes if you’re willing to risk some discolouration to save a cycle. This could especially be a good option for delicates as it runs at a lower temperature which causes less color bleeding
i only have few white pieces, putting like 2 of my white shirts alone seems like a huge waste, I've been mixing them with my clothing but they turned a bit grayish

You could try to do a quick wash on them if you have that option on your washer. That won't use nearly as many resources
