Je vous en prie! I am so glad you enjoyed our mini docs. We worked very hard on them. Please do come visit us When your travels find you in beautiful Oxnard, CA! Danny Soukup
Thank you so much for your comment. These programs were created entirely by the museum’s docents. They were a labor of love. Please come visit us once we reopen. We would really like to meet you!
The quality and engineering of this automobile is incredible. No doubt a "Supercar" of it's age. The dash instrumentation is what stands out to me along with that beautiful steering wheel reminiscent of a Bugatti steering wheel, they almost look identical. You can tell the buttons, switches, and gauges were built with extreme precision and care, like a quality watch or jewelry. 70 horsepower may not sound like a lot, but in 1928 that was considerable, although there were other cars of that era with more. And with this lighter bodied car, it probably moved it pretty well, although a Type 35 Bugatti of the same era would have probably left it in a cloud of dust! Absolutely stunning automobile.
I got cut off! Mr. Seeters, Thank you for your astute observations. These cars have become old friends to me, and I always learn something from them when I am with them. Please do come visit us when we are able to reopen. I would love to meet you. Until them, stay safe; stay healthy, be happy, and always - speed safely! Hi there! I wish there were plans to continue with this series, but MAM management has decided to end the project. Thank you for your kind words. Fantastic collection ! Hope to see more videos of these wonderful classics . I see there is no extremely rare FARMANS in the collection , what do you know of these little known cars?
Thank you for your kind comments. The shows were created entirely by the Museums volunteer docent staff. Please do come visit us soon, and tell your friends about our shows and our museum!
There are one or two things rather puzzling about this commentary For instance it was not at all unusual in 1928 to fit wire wheels with knock off hubcaps to cars of this sort For example Bentleys had them and such fittings started to be used prior to World War One
The Citroen ID 19 Chapron coupe le Paris please. You see
