- Living on a Tug boat is in one of the coolest things I’ve done so far in my Merchant Seamen career. From working on cruise ships in Hawaii, to sailing around Korean and making stops in Japan. Working & living on a tug boat is completely different and cool in its own right. Hard hands will help with the skin splitting on the fingers! Mine get that way too, and that stuff does wonders
