    0:39 the kipping escape - it's legit if performed properly (e.g., Kreg v Kaynan at ADCC)

      I prefer piggly wiggly!

      Its one of the main escapes taught by Danaher and used a lot by Garry Tonon. Amazing content as always tho :D

    You’re comments about the crowd were spot on.

      They were other competitors to be fair but mate they didn't even pop for the slam. I'd have been bouncing haha

    Kipping escape*
    Russian snap*
    Slide by footsweep*

    • @CombatArcade
      @CombatArcade  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You can have your names. I choose piggly wiggly.
      Also I called it a Russian Tie Snap, which is the most well used name for it even if it isn't technically from the russian tie.

    I have to say this has been wonderful to see. You’ve really managed to turn yourself into a sort of Jack Slack of competitive grappling, and i’ve said it many times on your channel, but your insights and knowledge is second to none. I can’t tell you how much i appreciate these

    • @CombatArcade
      @CombatArcade  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow, you're too kind. Seriously! I'm a dumb purple belt who makes up silly names for techniques :P I appreciate the kind words on the content though!

      @@CombatArcadebro don't know if you check out much random mma... there's this 18 year old brown belt... Sébastien Oyervides , had 2 amateur fights within a month this past months , won both by 1st round submission... like 135 or 140 division ..kid looks great, has some jiu jitsu matches online... lost as adcc, lost to Cole abate a few years back..but looks to be a potential savage on the rise

    I don’t understand the finals match- his opponent gets warned for getting pushed out of bounds, as if he has a choice, and izaak is allowed to basically get a running start at him at every reset. No discipline from the ref, just let izaak do whatever he wanted
