Hi Jason, It could be a number of things, if memory serves me correctly the is a pressure switch in it that could have failed i would see if you can download a service manual for it. Hope this helps and thanks for watching.
i suppose it depends on the country you are in i use RS components if you Google rs you will fined them. and they have outlets world wide or you could try eBay. Thanks for Watching.
No, you could scrape some of the solder mask off the trace and solder to that, but because the eyelet had separated from the PCB it was better to follow the trace and connect to the next component, as the PCB in this unit aren't the best and the traces lift very easily. Thanks for watching
how do you replace the power supply on a cdj 1000 mk 2 mate
often it is the laser head that needs to be replaced with a new one, or simply IC protector has failed.Hope it helps.
Unforchantly that's the nature of this type of board, the eyelet was not attached to the board so had to run a wire to get a good connection or drill and fit a threw hole eyelet the wire link is the easiest way to go

i just purchased a pair of cdj1000 mk3 and one of the cdj's doesnt read cd's . The cdj reads "load in" after the cd is put in and then ejects it . Does it to all cd's . any suggestions?

nice vid think i will just get a board rather than replacing my tact switches as its easy to get to and readily availiable at reasonable cost and theres no risk of damaging the board trying to achieve a small saving.. couple of things though firstly, should you be resting a cdj on its platter/jog wheel? the wheel is touch sensative.. and i would always reccomend removing the discs before shutting it down.. apart from that fixing my cue switch should be breeze. i rebuilt 2 1210s inc tonearms

Oh man! I had to replace my my 1000mk2 . My jog wheel was sticking cause something caused couple of the rollers to get loose. I replaced them , but when I put it back together. It came on for a few seconds then shut down. Now I'm not getting any power what so ever
It would be hard to tell with out testing volts out of the power supply.

I would think there is an led driver in there but with out looking at the schematic its hard to say, if i get chance i will have a look.Thanks for watching.

Hi.. my cdj just keeps on turning off... coming back on... then off.... on and so on, any ideas on why this is happening ? i was doing a gig and it just went off.. i let it cool down for a bit then tried it again. it worked for about 10 mins then went off again so i just swiched it off... tried it when i got home and it came on just fine and stayed on untill i had to turn it off.. i tried it again the next day and it was fine for 2 and half hours then i had to turn it off because i went out.. then when i tried it again later it just keeps going off.. on.. off.. on.. and so on, i hope you can help me with this... thanks.

I have the CDJ1000 mk3 and the jog adjust don't work, when I turn the dial, the wheel wont get stiff..
Any ideas as its driving me mad.

I have a problem with my decks. When scratching I have to press hard on the jog wheel or else the track keeps going. It makes scratching a real chore when it should be easy. Any suggestions?

For some reason this video no longer plays... But as I was saying, I'm very confident in my abilities, I'd just prefer to have some sort of gameplan I'd prefer not to go in blind. I have a pic of the inside, I'm just wanting to know if what I think is the right way to to it is actually correct.
one of my cdj has a lighting problem all functions are perfectly fine nut the liughts don't work cue,play,vynal/digital and the hot cues. the lcd screens are working fine.....help?

when i turn it on the lights on the top screen dont come on. but the light in the middle of the platter comes on and there is a red circle round it do you know what the problem is . i heard it was power supply that how i was asking

at the end of the video, when you enter the sd card and it tells you the number of cds, does it tell you the number of cds for which it has stored cuepoints or the number of cds ever inserted in the deck ?

MY CDJ 1000 MK2 HAVE NO DISPLAY LIGHT,NO JOG WHEEL LIGHTS,NO SOUND BUT IT COMES ON,PLAY AND CUE WORKS WITH LIGHTS ,CD IS ACCEPTED AND SPINNING.
SO I'M WONDERING WHICH PART IS BAD?
Cue button on mk3 not working at all - It clicks like it's supposed to, hot cues are working, but I can't cue with main cue button (CDJ or Vinyl mode). I can also cue with activating autoCue option, but I can't call the position with cue button. Also, there's no orange cue light around the button.
Help?
one of my search buttons above the cue button, is loose and doesn't work, what parts would I need.
You will need a new cue and play board and possibly the cue and play buttons or you can buy the cue button itself if you're any good at soldering

hi, my cdj 1000 mk3 doesnt read the cds, it stopped doing it instead, theres the message in the display saying its reading the cd then it gets ejected, what could be the problem.
this sounds like the Laser has failed
+fixitdaz any idea my cd tracks keep skipping to random track numbers? if i need to skip from track 1 to track 2, sometimes it will randomly jump to like track 4 or 6 and im like wtf? also happens when when i press play/cue buttons.
Maybe the contacts in the buttons are failing try to clean them or buy some new
