Hey Blanco, Oliver - I took my MK1 apart and gave it a good clean, spinning sweet now, but there's no detection of the rotation happening, pressure is detected, but no scratch moving or speed adjustment happening now, other than that all good, wondering what it could be?
Actually just fixed it, damn that was full on - any trick to making sure the clear strip gets into the slot in the reader easy? I had to unscrew the reader and try and slot it in while making sure it all stayed together all the way through rebuilding it, phew, back scratching again, and slowing down on the side with the strip inside the reader.
@@matarua Nice, congratulations! Inserting the clear strip is definitely the hardest part. I honestly don’t remember exactly how I did it the last few times, but I think I also unscrewed the sensor to make it easier to insert the strip.
@@oliverlopezofficial yeah that's the only way I could see it being done too, so tried and it's still hard to see if it's in there or not even with good light - being clear and all lol
This does not apply for the original CDJ-1000 (MK1). It doesn’t have springs, instead the jogwheel directly touches the pressure sensitive sensors.
