If The Queen shows signs of abnormal vitality, perhaps it is the result of having every single facet of her life being handled, organized and carefully measured before She does anything. She has lived a life of self imposed and State imposed restrictions that few could endure for such a long time. I'm sure that there are medical, dietary, athletic and cosmetic professionals to guide her in everything she does or has done her entire life. It makes for a very sheltered, safe and healthy way of life, but she has had to make herself subordinate to the requirements of such a life. That is a burden that the average person will never know. It is also one of the main reasons I find her to be so wonderful and special. I'm an American. As such, we have no Royalty. But if we did, I'd like to believe we would be priveledged to be represented by a grand Lady of such high and irreproachable moral fiber as The Queen has proven herself to be.
