This was an historic moment. As a retired serviceman, with 20 years in uniform and having served a tour in Korea, I think it was a great thing that President Trump went to the DMZ and met with Kim. Nobody hates war or the prospect of war more than a soldier. If meeting and creating a dialog can help prevent a future war, than I am all for it. It's all the armchair warriors in pinstriped suits that have an interest in keeping this old conflict going. This is how these old beefs need to be handled. Cuba should be handled the same way. Castro is dead, the Cuban Missile Crisis is long gone, it's high time we sit down and work it out with words not weapons. Andy Mcgraw listen this is historic on many levels and while he doesn’t have the perfect track record because of course almost starting a war in the Middle East he is at least making some redemption with peace. Regardless of party affiliation, this is an historic moment, one for NK AND the USA. An attempt to re-try talks towards a goal of open friendly communication should be viewed as a positive by both parties.
