Oh man, thank you so much for the video!
You gave me a hard flashback to the times I had there, back in the day. I recognize those streets and paths quite well (shown 2:55-3:35), but I won't say the name here either.
I've been there three times, most recently in 2019. 2020 was in planning, but then came Covid. Did it very similarly to you. Cross-country crystal hunting. Those hills, mountains and ridges are tough stuff. That's why I kept my back pack to a minimum for exploring. Never take all your stuff with you on a search, I quickly learned. My base camp was at the nearest campsite and my car was always within 1-2 hours walking distance if I needed any bigger tools or so.
I was quite successful, finding and emptying some nice miarolic cavities. But never have I found such a large pegmatite vug untouched as you did. These are quite rare! You were very, very lucky! These smoky quartz crystals are great!
After your first day, I spent the whole video wondering why you guys didn't stay there or if you were coming back! Luckily for you, you did come back. And I think there's a lot more to find in that wall. I hope you guys return 2024 and make another video out of it (don't forget a long rubber hose to get rid of the water ;) )
I hope to do so one day. But my route is two 7 hour drives and crossing the Baltic Sea in between....

Haha oh man I am glad you like it. We learned a lot about this place. Moving from the first spot was a mistake but at the time we had know idea how lucky we were in that pocket. The next day spent hiking in that terrain at least made us appreciate that spot so much more. A hose is a smart idea. Would be great to really see what’s under all that water. Hopefully I will meet you in these woods one day !

in 2023 i was in the same place well not really the same place but around there is it allowed to dig around like this ? Because i was scared that someone might ask me for some permissions or something.

Digging doesn't need permissions, I dug everywhere, in forests near hills on fields etc
