    Great video but only for that model!! Be aware that if you put an old non EDP screen on a EDP ready laptop that has the same 30 or 40pins, you’ll burn the motherboard. The display exchange, as simple as it looks, as fragile and dangerous it is on other laptops. Newer models have removable rubbers for keeping it stucked to the cover, instead of screws. Always remove the battery before you do any power related operations. The screen has high voltages needed for the backlight. A slight short in the process of exchange can damage the motherboard, display or the LVDS cable during the process. I already saw all the above happened to clients that come to our service after a failed cleaning, hinge or display atempt.

    Nice. If I had known this, my laptop wouldn't have been almost condemned. As the original ram was stolen and screen placement was imperfect.
