Welcome, Singapore is pretty safe. My kids (boy and girl) travelled to school on public transport since 8 years old. We never worry about their safety.
While you may enjoy the warm weather, do protect yourself with sunscreen or Umbrella. The UV index in extremely high. Even guys like me use sunscreen.
I also felt extremely safe as a single girl, I loved it! yeah, used lots of sunscreen, but still got a bit sunburnt 😅

You need to equip your with some plasters, so that you could use it on the blisters. Little India has many value shops that carry small boxes of plasters
Yeah, I had plasters back in my hostel, so I put some in my bum bag the next day just in case

Thanks! I have a small tripod that I sometimes use to take photos, but mostly I just ask people and we take photos for each other :)

You need to rest your feet. And because the blisters have burst, you need to prevent them from being infected. I think you can buy plasters meant for blisters. Ask the hostel.
Hi Awsome vlog keep it up ..!!!! Could you please help know how to see Merlon park light show and gardens by the bay at same day is it nearby ? what were the timings for both of them? I think will need to take metro right ?
Do you mean fountain show and giant tree show? Yiu can totally see them on the same day, that's what I did. The fountain show is nearby Marina bay sands hotel at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm, if i'm not mistaken (i watched the one at 8pm), and then you just follow the crown through the shopping mall at Marina bay, there's a bridge that leads you to the gardens by the bay. I think the light show at gardens is around 8:30ish, but there's enough time to get from one show to another :)

Try to dress casually here as the weather and humidity level can change!!!! Rainy and windy and cold one day, hot and humid the next!!!!
You need shading umbrella or hat, portable fan and a big bottle of water, in this hot and humid climate, or you can treat it as a 24/7 free sauna. 🤣🤣🤣
At 11:32 when you did that shot of you walking, I’m 100% sure you were afraid a monkey would come up and snatch your phone, HAHA!
Monkeys in Singapore parks usually snatch when they see someone hold a plastic bag. They automatically assume there is food.

Hi i think you mentioned staying at 7 Wonders hostel @Boat Quay right? How was your experience there as a solo female?I saw some reviews online and am debating in staying there
Yep, I stayed there. It was fine, not a bad place, but unfortunately I didn't make any friends, as most people there were already traveling in groups. But other than that, it's a nice place.

Clever girl, u found MacRitchie Reservoir n the treetop canopy walk. Far too many tourists come to Spore, see the Merlion, Gardens by the Bay n MBS, n then complain dat that's all Spore has to offer. If u love nature n green spaces, there's actually quite a lot to explore in Spore (plenty of TH-cam vids on these, complete wif hiking trails). I will just mention 3 here: (a) Sungei Buloh Wetlands Nature Reserve (u may even meet wild crocs/otters), (b) Pulau Ubin, an offshore island wif natural rustic beauty harking back to the days of pre-modern Spore, (c) Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, primary rainforest habitat. There r others. Come back to Spore in the future for a more complete experience. BTW, don't miss the Sky-Net Walk in Jewel, Changi Airport. It's so scarily high up, it's heart-stoppingly good!
Thank you so much for the recs! I didn't even know about these places, I'll def check them out, when I come back in the future! There were a few other places I really wanted to see (like Palau Ubin), but unfortunately, I didn't have enough time or else I'd have to exhaust myself! I absolutely loved Spore and I'll come back one day!

Yes, and also I share my language learning ecperience from time to time (like language goals, progress updates etc) )together with travel videos! I started this channel mainly as language and book channel in 2021, when I couldn't travel due to covid, but then in 2022 I also started sharing travel content.

Have you been to Amsterdam? Easily the most beautiful city in the world. Especially if you ignore "attractions" and just walk around in the beautiful city center with over 9000 wonderful 17th century buildings, about 97% is very beautiful, canals, trees, etc. No other city can compare. Just avoid the red light district and shopping streets.
Yes, I have been there, but unfortunately didn't have lots of time, so only saw main attractions. I'd love to come back one day and explore Netherlands!
@@languagetraveller As I wrote, it is much more interesting if you ignore "attractions". Attractions are for tourists. A different mindset it needed to really experience a culture and appreciate architecture etc. Also to become an explorer instead of a tourist.
