Honestly, for the Honor Among Thieves comment about the Bard being casual, I have straight up met a bard who would rather chuck bag pipes than use their 4th lv spells
Mine also uses a reinforced lute. My inspiration came from seeing Nate Newton from Converge pummel a stage rusher with his bass after they tried to jostle the mic from Jake Bannon (who, like a trooper, never missed a scream and acted like the butthole wasn't even there) 😂
3:15, I recognise that conversation! This is voice acting of a quote from one of the more popular edgy Undertale AU comics; Handplates. That was my favourite comic when I was younger, it actually concluded recently. Figured it's worth mentioning the source since it's quite obscure.
As for what Bardic Inspiration looks like for our party…one time I gave our fighter inspiration by playing a song that my character played for him when they (now apparently canonically) had some uh…fun times together… I can only imagine what the in game looks from the other characters would have been💀
Honestly after watching this video it has reminded me that I have absolutely traumatized at least two of my characters from dying to much from my own stupidity also a bit of advice I learned from it if you think something is funny and you do it for the bit don’t it’ll bite you in the ass if not right away it will eventually
3:10 I’d make them roll, and if they fail, the BBEG busts out his _own_ musical instrument and joins in, making it a battle of the bands “Ah, a worthy Challenger! YOU NOW FACE VECNA AND THE BONE PATROL! ORCUS, GET ME MY SKULLSPLITTER GUITAR!”
last round of dnd i played...i found out my mother is like thanos and wants the best for dragons and my dad is the person i gotta defeat, a friend poisoned my dragons causing them to die so now ive teamed up with my mother, i got a really messed up family cause i got 12 other siblings and im the perfect 13th child (please save me)

that animatic kind of makes me want to play a happy go lucky naive character in a grimdark campaign

😂. I'm betting some of the players had a good laugh.
0:55 this is the one thing I alway say if I play a bard. “WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS EVERYONE TRUST IN THEIR INSTINCT”
I like that version of bardic inspiration.

Very true

Very rare
Love your vids
Glad, you like them.😄
The finger down game…I only got to put three fingers down. I think I’m playing dnd wrong. 13:24
No, most of us just do dumb things. Like casting a fireball when you know it is a bad idea just because another person at the table said you wouldn't
@aidanmcgurl233 😂
What is welcome home doing here? not upset, just pleasantly surprised?
I thought it would be cool to add. I did not know where it was from so your comment really helped.
A welcome home animatic of voice acting fandub from an Undertale AU comic. Quite the layered fandoms in this one
What's the source for the audio at 3:18 ?
I don't know the true audio source but it is from a animatic series called welcome home
@@learningcurve6499 It’s actually a horror project and that video is fan content
6:03 He was what? 🧐
What did she say...
I know I've heard the audio from the clip at 3:18, but I just can't remember what it's from, anyone got some ideas?
I think it might be from Starbot Dubs, dub of the undertale fan-comic "Handplates" by Zarla. Audio sounded familiar to me, too.
@@pokepoya5644 You're totally right, god it's been years since I've looked at anything to do with Undertale, no wonder I couldn't think of it.
Thanks for the comment. I was looking for it too.
@@pokepoya5644 i knew i knew that from somewhere!
