I've also decided to go fire for PvP for this patch. I used to like Frost more, but the amount of keybinds and options are so overwhelming due to 10.1.5 that I simply don't want to play it. It's just not fun. My keybinds are optimized for PvE but PvP adds 4 additional binds - and let's be honest WoW has enough binds as it is on mages. Trying to fit this all together becomes very uncomfortable both mentally and even physically. I constantly feel confused and inadequate when playing Frost PvP, but not Fire or Frost PvE. I'm doing by far the highest damage in BG's but it still feels incredibly awkward all the time. But Fire is good!

Rogue was made for the kid in school who actually wanted to bully everyone but couldn't cause he was a scrawny lil twerp so he went home to play WoW instead. And fire mage is his enabler and only friend.
You forgot Rogues. Also, playing glass cannon should have hard counter comps. ALSO, I just had top 10 worst Solo of my life where random fire/sub oneshot Resto sham in the opener of the round.
Wht about frost? I saw Aeghis video where frost damage looks gd or does frost suck too? Thinking of playing again but wont if mage as bad as people saying.
@diggs6083 Frost is good but has same struggle as firemage when it comes to surv hunter lobbys, and rsham melee lobby’s… And now frost/fire getting pve nerfs that also affect pvp so might look rough after reset

"i changed my mind again this is my favorite spec" lol #AltoholicLyfe except you have lots of friends that are available to help you get a lot further than I do. I'm lucky to hit 2k each season on one class and you hit 2400+ on like 4 or 5 every season it seems.

When you get to that level of pvp you always have a friends list full of similar talent players that can help you carry any new toons. Not a luxury available to most players which is what I think OP is talking about, but who knows? Just my 2 cents

Mage movement utility is way too high. All classes should not be able to double charge/dash/blink/etc. Fixing the mobility in the game imo would be step 1 on making such a better player experience
You are wrong. They a glass cannons. What needs to happen is make the slow class tougher. Like a mage shouldn’t be able to nuke and warrior or dk before he can touch them

I would still argue that mages are pretty disgustingly bad. Arguably at a point where, aside from inconvenience, they should think about just removing the class from the game if it isn't going to be fixed or reworked.
Renewed last week, wow pvp is in the worst state it's ever been in currently. No players, solo que being a solo shuffle which is a complete joke, gear being a joke, abilities / classes being a joke. All round pathetic expansion. Much worse than Shadowlands / BFA which BFA was beyond abysmal, still following in the same light, garbage.
