- We were planning on making a parking video for you guys, but the weather took an unexpected turn here in sunny Algarve - so we decided to test how well Autopilot (and Enhanced Autopilot's features) works in the rain (day and night),
If you have any questions about the new Tesla Model 3 Highland, please feel free to leave them in the comments below and I will try answer them.

Thank you for your videos. These have been really helpful in preparing me for my new M3 LR all black. Beautiful area you are living btw! Lived in Lisboa and Cascais for a short period
Clearly so much of the tech isn’t usable atm.
I guess a positive is the regular software updates should future proof your purchase. Meaning when it fully works your car can be updated and function fine. No need to buy a new car
this is not the beta version, basic autopilot is only recommended for highway driving not narrow and hard turns streets.
Seems like a lot of beeping. Do you get used to that? And is the regular adaptive cruise control with lane centering working correctly in the rain?
Just wanted to ask if phantom braking is still an issue with the latest software versions? And with the V4 hardware on the Highland.
Oh yes, it definitely is - I try keep my foot on the accelerator to prevent it from doing it
wow!! amazing🔥🔥
How can you activate navigation on autopilot? I am unable.
you need to have Enhanced Autopilot or FSD
@@europeinatesla I have full autonomous driving capability
Ah, you need to press the navigate button - but it only works on the highway. You also need to enable it in the autopilot settings first
@@europeinatesla ok I will see. thanks
European rules are more restrictive than the US and should only be used on freeways
autopilot is for the highway, and bumper to bumper highway traffic, not city roads
Exactly. Please don't use it on non highways. It's very dangerous
So the autopilot is still💩 can’t operate in bad weather conditions where is most needed… 😒
Why is autopilot most needed in bad weather conditions?
The autopilot is not bad, unless you're referring to the new update and how strict it is...
@@Rachsuchtig to help driver arrive safely when visibility is poor? It was created to help and ease the burden on the driver, not stress you out. Lots of countries have more bad weather days than good.
Just like manual driving, you can lower the max speed on Autopilot. However, as others have noted Autopilot is for highway driving and not for city street driving.
Looks extremely annoying 😂
