Great question John. This specific Ford F-550 Chassis Cab has a 18,000 LB GVWR. The truck after upfit weighed around 9,500LBS. This would allow roughly 8,500 LBs of payload.

Absolutely! Depending on your needs/wants is how we would configure the hitch. For example you could add a B&W 5th Wheel Companion hitch that goes in the same square hole as the B&W Turn over ball.

The Elite 60 has a starting price of $26,240 and the Elite 84 starts at $30,790. This would be installed and painted to match the truck.

The only issue I see with moving up to the F550 over the F450 It’s now you’re in the De rated engine territory. And higher insurance cost do to the commercial Weight rating.

This would depend on the chassis configuration for the length. 8'-6" or 102" is max width for the road.
