🐚TRADITIONAL CONCH SALAD: Remove the conch from the shell and de-skin. Clean it in salt water
then clean it with lime. Mince onions, green pepper and tomato. Slice the conch in half, then into thin, small slices. Add pepper blend, salt & mix. Place in a bowl and add lime juice and an orange on top. Garnish with a lime and orange. Top with the conch red.
🐚TRADITIONAL CONCH SALAD + OLD FASHIONED SCORCH CONCH SALAD: In a bowl, add chopped pineapple, green peppers, onions, tomatoes and a mango. Add salt and goat pepper to the bowl and then scoop mixture into a pineapple. Take a new conch and scorch it. Rub the scorch conch with pepper and rub with salt and place the scorched conch on top. Add sliced mango.

🐚CONCH FRITTERS: In a food processor,chop onions & tomatoes. Pour mixture into a mixing bowl. Remove the buds from the conch then place raw conch into the food processor. Add lime juice, thyme, salt, pepper, flour and baking soda. Roll into balls & fry until golden brown. | Caliper sauce: Mayo, ketchup, hot sauce and lime juice.
🐚CRACKED CONCH: Slice the tender conch into strips. Dip the slices into a mixture of eggs, salt and pepper.Roll in flour & lightly fry until golden brown. Serve with french fries & caliper dipping sauce.
🐚BLACKENED CONCH: Season the tenderized conch with blackened spice. In a pan with oil, sear conch on both sides, then saute julienned vegetables. Dice the conch then add to the vegetable mix. | Sriracha Honey Mayo: 1 tbsp mayo, 1 tbsp sriracha, 1/2 tbsp honey, Salt TT, Pepper TT, Juice of 1/2 lime. In a mixing bowl, whisk all ingredients together. | Serve with tropical salsa & top with apple tuile.

Depends on the tourist, I think. Some just want to get a typical generic tourism experiences with options of luxury foods and accommodations while others wanted to experienced the local's foods and cultures.
He didn’t answered correctly. Shark fishing is banned in the Bahamas.The Fisheries Resources and Conservation Act prohibits the possession, sale, fishing for or landing of sharks or shark parts in The Bahamas. Hence you would not find it on the menu.

If you guys wanna know how special conch is: I was in the USA on full b-ball scholy. Didn’t get much time to go back home (Nassau, Bahamas) ..I didn’t see my mom for TWO YEARS!! When I finally was able to go back home, THE FIRST THING I did before seeing my family after YEARS. Was drive STRAIGHT to “Bamboo Shack” from the airport (best place other than right on the water’s shore to get (deep fried) conch..called “crack conch”) :..I never told my mom this so don’t tell on me😅..conch is a BIG DEAL. That’s why he’s visited our country 4 times. Y’all should come visit. The hospitality is even better than the food 🙂🙏🏽❤️ 🇧🇸

The man really seems to put his heart into it. He eats things that I would probably avoid. Even in wilderness survival training we didn't eat some of that stuff, lol.
Humans will continue to eat anything that moves until extinction.
I hope that the Coronavirus and its mutations will slow down the humans reproduction, so other species can survive. Otherwise, we’ll witness our own extinction.
We go to the Bahamas every year twice a year. I’ve been going since I was 3, we stay at the Atlantis. When I started going we were at their first hotel I believe it was the coral, then we transitioned to the royal which is what you see in his video intro. We stay at the cove sometimes but the Royal will always be my #1 it’s my comfort and so nostalgic for me. Now I am 28 and have a 4 year old daughter of my own and we just started going we would’ve gone sooner but we didn’t feel comfortable with COVID and a small child.. She loves it and I can’t wait for her to fully understand and appreciate it more as she grows and watch her expand her palate!

This brings back memories of laying on the beach eating conch salads all day ! At our resort, there was a stand, on the beach at the edge of the resort beach, making fresh conch salads. OUTSTANDING ! That was better than any food we bought at restaurants during our trip.

When I traveled to Bahamas, I found the Montagu Beach Fish Market and the conch salad was the bomb!!! Especially the habanero 🌶. I went every day for 14 days, which was only 7 days but I extended my vacation for an additional 1 week.
That seafood looks pretty damn good!

I was blessed to experience the eating of the conch when I went on a cruise to the Bahamas. It was sooo good. Sweet, melt in your mouth experience you won’t find anywhere else when it comes to conch.

It's so sad he is going to kill and sell the queen conch for a souvenir.. It is illigal to fish them in US waters since 1986... Because their numbers have deteriorated.
I ate spicy conch burgers or salads for lunch when working on Great Exuma Is in the Bahamas.. They were delicious. The lobster was always delicious to. The locals told me conch is their equivalent to chicken!

I've never liked the taste of conch. Had it once when I was little and never looked back. My ex husband and I when we were dating went to The Bahamas in 1994. We stayed at Cable Beach Resorts on Nassau. Such a beautiful place. Would love to go back and visit the other islands and try some of that delicious seafood.
